  1. check to see you have them spawning AGL instead of MSL. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  2. I found this video very helpful for that sort of thing. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  3. Hi, What would you use as a Vietnam era artillery firebase? I'm building a Huey resupply mission, it doesn't need to be working, just to look the part. Any ideas welcome. Cheers Andrew
  4. I used the finger mouse while waiting for my pointctrl. Honestly you'll be blown away! Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  5. Absolutely, just been flying the Huey tonight, not to have that shudder and vibration when leaving ETL would be an absolute killer. I'd be more than happy to buy you a beer. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  6. Have to agree with this. It feels so empty. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk

  8. thanks for this. Is there any way of setting the F11 camera to a particular grid ref , and then bookmarking it?
  9. That link works, and google translate after. Thanks again. Good article and I'd say you nailed the cloud and fire. "Once we were under the clouds we saw the whole of southern Lebanon burning: lots of fire, fires and shells whether in our direction or not."
  10. nice mission. I need to re fly it.First i went too far past the castle, I don't think i descended in time, no problem, I doubled back and found it. Approached from the north. On finals close to the Humvee at about 50 ft I seemed to hit something and I blew up, I couldn't see what it was though and didn't see any ground fire. I shall re-fly it. Felt very eerie descending through the clouds with the fires burning all around. Cheers, good to see Israel / Syria map content.
  11. Cheers, I look forward to giving this a go tonight. Thanks The story link is broken,
  12. And that's what makes flying the Huey very rewarding. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  13. Practice on anything, but it's what you practice. Fly circuits correctly, hitting the right numbers. Proper controlled approaches. I did this with the Huey and I was able to jump in to the Gazelle with no problem, even though the rotors turned the opposite way. I'm now really enjoying the Gazelle. I can land and hover precisely with probably just a half hour transition period from huey to the gazelle. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  14. Hi, Is the FM signal blocked? If you're too low and have too much terrain or too far away you may not get the signal. Also I belive you need to turn off the ils radio, top left of the radio stack. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  15. No problem, I have x56 thrustmaster pedals. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  16. I believe the next best thing is always 6 months away! I have very similar setup to you. When I upgrade I want to experience a large improvement. I asked a similar question a few months ago and now I'm holding off until the autumn. Good luck and I will be monitoring this thread to see what the latest advice is. 17. Nice one, dropped off the reinforcements but came down a little too hard with the oil, that went off with a bang! Good mission, I like the short transit times. Lots of action. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  18. I'd be interested in the single player version. I look forward to trying it. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  19. Excellent, I'll have another look Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks, I thought it was there. I fly in vr, on the briefing page the 2nd or 3rd image, the one of the terrain/ map isn't very clear, I can't read the labels. Is it possible to have a sharper or zoomed in image. The lighting in the mission was spot on. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  21. Really nice visuals, tracers looked great. I was a little unsure where to drop the crates, my adf seemed to be taking me past the red smoke that was just west of the river. Is that where the crates should be dropped? Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  22. Great video, thanks Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  23. I'm also very interested in this one. Kit or fully made. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  24. Hola, I have a twin brother that lives in Majadahonda Madrid. I've decided to wait a bit, I'm just finishing my office at home, then I was going to get the H2 chair setup and then see where everything was. Then it's the summer holiday. So September will be the earliest. But will take you up on the spec offer. I didn't pre order the G2 yet as it would just make me a little nervous. Bird in hand and all that. 25. I like the wires but could see that as a bit of a nightmare..... Fly the huey on Monday nights and dabble with other planes, I nearly have the whole set but not enough time to learn them. If you're coming back after 20 years, apart from the wallet, what a time to come back! Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
