Are you using the BS2 upgrade version? I was and spent zillions of hours trying to get it to run in world only to find its not supported in beta. I had exactly the same issue with in it not excepting my serial number. hope that helps. Edit: sorry didn't read your post properly :-(

I love all the titles that DCS have released. But man I'm doing my head in with all the changes. Now I've d/l the new version of dcs world and its giving me this insert disk error crap. Like I said I love the stuff but it gets so you have to have a uni degree to sort it out once something changes. Has anyone else d/l the new version and run the world exe only to get a 'please insert disk' box?

Ok I have an issue with running a second monitor or more exactly getting my iPad to grab the mfd's. I have tried Icontrol and Touchcontrol and basically my problem is that to set them up I feel I need an IT degree. The instructions to me feel very technical and long winded, I get into them than after a while my eyes glaze over and I start thinking about my next holiday. So, is there anyone who has experienced the same issue and/or are there any guides or instructions for simpletons like me?

Beta?? Forgive more for asking what might appear as a silly question but when will 51 come out of beta?

Thanks for the responses. I still am not sure what caused this but I suspect it was a conflict issue. I unplugged all controllers and after re-attaching them its working fine. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks Cichlid and Weta. Did a hot start on the runway and its the left rudder, its being depressed full and when I give it a nudge it centralises. Tried to rectify by axis settings and in the Ch Pedals setup, no joy.

Hi everyone, let me start by saying how much I love P51D, something about the lack of buttons to push maybe? My problem is when I start an mission in the air, as soon as I click the tick to start, the aircraft goes into a wild spin. Have looked at all my controller settings and they seem fine, has this happened to anyone before? Running WARTHOG HOTAS and CH Pro pedals.

Using this one sack, works pretty good. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=80980

thanks sack, finally got to work by loading a custom profile direct into the game. For some reason the game recognises the z axis for both the throttle and pedals as separate entities, I dont know how or why, dont really care, just glad they are working.

Thanks again Pete, yeah I am actullay running that profile, but I want to remap a couple of buttons. What I am after is when you drop down a particular assignment in the in game set up you get a list of butons and axis, I am after what button and what axis corrosponds to the button/switches on the stick/throttle. -

Thanks Pete, yeah sorry its BS2. The manual is limited and shows a siatek stick or something, I am after the key assigments for the warthog. -
Hello everyone. I am running a thrustmaster warthog hotas. I am finding it really frustrating to allocate buttons and switches as when I am assigning them in the game, the options are Joy_BTN1, Joy_AR ect ect. Is there a diagram that shows the allocations of these switches/buttons so I know what the in game assigments are reffering too??

Thanks Melcar for the advice. Got in and had a try, but no matter what I try it shows as the z axix in the calibration screen, also in he axis settings the r axis is grayed out. Man I love this game but I feel like i need a degree in physics to get evrything right so I can actually go in a play it. Its further frustrating seeing I have payed hundreds of dollars for gear to enjoy the experience.
