  1. I'd question the idea of new, its been 6 years in development and therefore definitely not a new idea to DCE/ED. This is a complex aircraft that has taken considerable development on EDs part, the idea is legacy and made a significant time frame ago. I think the question I would like answering is when are we getting a Falcon? ;)
  2. I wouldn't worry about 1.5 anymore, middle to end of Jan it's all wrapped up in 2s release. 1.5 will cease to exist.
  3. have you taken the parking break off? Releasing the parking break releases the throttle above idle. Might not be your issue, but also might contribute. Startup sequence: Turn on battery, gen and apu Turn on fuel pumps, decs and fuel lever, Engine startup, once engine RPM move throttle fwd to detent, engine spools up. Release parking break, allowing throttle full movement. There are other steps to become functional, but that should get the engines going.
  4. Watch your flap settings it could be forward momentum being lost when the flaps change. If you still have lift under your wings due to momentum and this is then bled off by the flaps....could be the point of no return.
  5. Yes, very possible without using scripts, you need to have the unit already in position on the ground (late activation) and when the UH1H lands they the are made active.

  8. I am logging in with the same account that I fly A10C vanilla with, same username same password. I don't have P51. I have A10C, Black Shark and Black Shark 2 (upgrade). So I can't see why I'm having an issue. In DCS World, I have the A10 theme on, the Black Shark 2 has a dollar sign as I can't install the module, due to the upgrade module not being ready yet. The A10C is good to go and fly, the SU26 is good to go and Fly, the P51 has a dollar sign as I haven't bought it. When I go to MP, I try to logon and get the Invalid serial.............
  9. I have installed the DCS World A10C module v1.1.2.1 and have had from the start, it's in the SP no problem, but the MP has a serial issue!! So in answer to your question, yes I have! I appreciate the help, but it's still an issue.
  10. I was never asked to activate DCS world. It never asked and works fine from SP mode. When I try connecting to the MSL, it tells me my serial is invalid, so I tried to re-activate holding whatever button when you start DCS World and it came up with my A10C activation code and told me it was already activated. So back to MP and lo and behold, invalid serial!!! NOt sure what I have to do to get it working!! HELP!!
  11. DCS world refuses to acknowledge that I have a serial for DCS world, if I try to re-activate it tells me that activation is good using my A10C code, but when I try to connect to the master sever list, it tells me I have an invalid serial. How do I get past this annoying issue? Cheers, Loon.

  13. I honestly can't see how this can work. Modern SA systems vs a P51..really??? If this is being looked at realistically it needs a new theatre with time specific vehicles etc. DCS is not MSFS, so please don't dilute the amazing product you have with unrealistic aircraft. For me realism gone in one fowl swoop of a bad decision. If you gave it a home other than Georgia and Nevada, such as France on D Day then ok, lets go new sim. But really a P51 vs an SA11?????????

  15. Although what you are referring to is relative humidity. When you heat air it can carry more water and thus dry your eyes :cry:etc, but when mixing as you would in a car i.e. heated air from the engine being blown into the cab, drying of eyes is not an issue. The RH of the mixed air with that of the warmed air almost cancels out, and as the warmed air cools it's RH quickly approaches that of it's starting point. GEEK:book::helpsmilie:!!! But just to say, I don't need optrex to drive:doh:.

  17. All the ATI settings are quality. It's just certain in cockpit text that looks, fuzzy until I lean in with TIR. Thanks for the assistance so far. I have looked at the text in DDS format and actually some of it is quite poor, it might be a resolution issue 1900X1200 that is causing it. Although the MipMap issues that I used to have with Falcon AF seem slightly reminiscent but on a lower level and only text specific.

  19. I wouldn't read too much into the "you can't". It could also have to do with the meeting of BS with A10, as the BS has binos.
