  1. hello folks Time to sell my rig. Retired and moving to south east asia. I would seriously prefer to sell this rig as one piece. The aluminum 'sled' is custom built and suits individuals 5' 6" to 6'+ https://forums.eagle.ru/album.php?albumid=1386 for pics. More current pics for seriously interested folks. Over 7,000.00 invested, asking 5,000.00 Interested individuals can contact me at bmon8858@gmail.com... I'm in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. 40" Philips main monitor 21" LG 2nd. monitor with Cougar MFCD's mounted Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS Derick Sanders Button Box (26 functions) Saitek Combat rudder pedals Track IR5 Megan Racing contour seat / red.
  2. if you mean assign what function to which button... stay with the things you know... i.e. guns, weapon release, slew, trim etc. anything else could go wherever you want to put it... it's just a matter of memorizing where you placed it! Hope this helps...
  3. a10c - world 2 - first flight pedals were fine and now they're just gone... went into original world and they're still there.... but not in world 2 any ideas? Tried searching, but no joy Thanks
  4. personally, I designed my beer holder first and then build my sim-sled around it :music_whistling: check it our here... http://forums.eagle.ru/album.php?albumid=693&pictureid=5348
  5. that was way too easy... thanks again bignewy!
  6. thanks bignewy... dcs world is installed w/ a10c, f86, p51 and others... will try what you suggested in 2nd post! Thanks man
  7. this is new for me, never been an issue before! Just bought the mig21 and when I go to the distribution page, thru my email, I get an error that reads... "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or if one is already installed please create an association in the default programs control panel" I've never had an issue with other modules and downloading like this, so what am I missing? Please note, I'm not the swiftest guy with this sort of thing?... what kind of file do I need to associate with what type of program? Hoping someone will be kind enough to guide me thru this:music_whistling: Thanks
  8. I put off buying mine for @ 2 years, which I now consider to be 2 wasted years! It is definitely worth the cost and you won't be sorry. If mine died today, I wouldn't hesitate to get another. Just do it!
  9. What I would dearly love to see is someone who's built a full on pit, all panels working, UFC functional, woodwork for consoles, etc, etc. And I would like to see the figure when all manpower hours are factored in, at say $10.00 us per hour. And I mean all of it.... woodworking, cnc time, wiring, soldering, assembly, the full monty so to speak. I'm guessing, but I think somewhere between 20 and 30,000... but I might be low balling this!.... anyone?
  10. id3man, congrats!.... but I'll say it again.. "I never had a suicidal moment until I met a 'lua' file"!
  11. yo I3dman... I'm not the most proficient guy for this, but I had the same problem after the current update. My export lua has worked fine thru all updates over the last 4 years... Out of desperation I went to options and changed the resolution to match my main monitor (1920 x 1060). That fixed it for all my planes. My other monitor remains unaffected and everything is solid again. Try it. If it doesn't work, go back to your original resolution and soldier on! Good luck.
  12. all in @ 6,500 Canadian.... and lots more to dream about
  13. As Mango said, addictive! Love my Hog, ED could double the price and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again... but it is a steal during the sale... get it, park it and get to it later, or dive in!
  14. Please refer to posts 26, 27, 28, 29, 34 and 36, this thread!
  15. skipped lunch and got the Saber.... fair trade says I . A workmate bought lunch... no loss here! Thanks again ED
  16. Only if you have a wife to stop you... :music_whistling: Bigger, better, shinier, it just never seems to stop or be enough! Look into some of the high end pits... it's chilling what can be spent. Welcome to a brand new world
  17. personally, I'll just wait for the hologram version... word on the street is it'll have its' own holo-deck.... the first update should be the zero gravity mod...
  18. Truer words were never spoken! I started with the a10c @ $40.00.... $6500.00 later (which is minimal to some pits) and I'm still dreaming bigger, faster, shinier...
  19. Well done!... is that rigged to work in today's world, or a pic of an old typewriter?
  20. Would any of these suffice... :smilewink: https://www.google.ca/search?q=steampunk+keyboards&biw=960&bih=441&tbm=isch&imgil=cE30gdkPp1n7mM%253A%253BiPCNffbP2hEoUM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252F1800recycling.com%25252F2011%25252F02%25252Frecycled-steampunk-keyboards&source=iu&pf=m&fir=cE30gdkPp1n7mM%253A%252CiPCNffbP2hEoUM%252C_&usg=__e1yvKipoV1d435CLfxbgwseNVwE%3D&ved=0CDgQyjc&ei=1rsDVejQENPgoASVpIKwBg#imgrc=cE30gdkPp1n7mM%253A%3BiPCNffbP2hEoUM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252F1800recycling.com%252Fwp-content%252Fuploads%252F2011%252F01%252Fmarquis-wood.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252F1800recycling.com%252F2011%252F02%252Frecycled-steampunk-keyboards%3B550%3B422
