  3. I did, several times in fact. I rewrote multiple times, answered multiple times, and tried to clarify to you multiple times. Nothing more i can do. You simply didn't understand the problem. Dont blame me. Take a look at your responses, they were not informative and actually way off of the mark. My response was because of your responses. Dont blame me. As for trying to help, this is a forum for posting bugs, not speculation. If you dont understand what i am writing about, you dont need to answer, especially the way you did.
  4. With all due respect. I know this, I have written this several times above. It doesn't matter which mode is best. Auto mode can be used for stationary targets as well. What I am doing is advising an unreported change in the usability of an item. This change I deem as a bug as it didn't work this way previously. I have already found a work around and described a different method of using the item. There, and again with all due respect, if you don't know what I am talking about or cannot confirm or deny this as a bug, then this post really isn't for you to reply in. Same goes with @Foka
  5. Foka, I am not talking about the weapon delivery method. Auto is point track in the Atflir. Atflir sensor modes are INR / SCENE / INR AUTO which leads to AUTO when acquisition is complete. For reference I am only talking about Atflir and how Auto (same as point track with litening) does not update weapon on the target. Just for clarity, in the past Atflir AUTO acquisition mode always updated weapon. In Auto mode, all TDC depress did was give you a cursor to slew sensor. As the targeting pod is not working as it did, I am referencing it as a bug, unless it is the new norm, which seems strange. It's no problem I can use SCENE mode,,tdc depress, pickle. Or use AUTO (atflir point track), tdc depress, pickle. But the last method leaves me with a cursor that is not needed nor required waiting to move my target designation.
  6. Reworded my issue above as I wasn't very clear. Problem referencing auto mode The way I understand it and the way I worked the atflir previous was any designation in auto mode updated target point. Tdc depress in auto mode gives cursor to move atflir retical. Hence acquiring target with tdc left/right in direction of display changes from inr to scene to auto. Upon entering auto tdc depress not required to update GPS guided munitions or auto bombing cue At present, I have to (in auto mode) depress tdc for the weapons to guide to target. A lock in auto no longer works. Unless I had a brain fart and forgot how it used to work.
  7. Using JDAM with ATFLIR pod. Latest open beta as of 11/11/2022 In auto mode (atflir point track mode), I need to use TDC depress button to have the weapons accept target designation. Unless I am mistaken TDC depress in auto mode is to relocate atflir reticle, as weapon designation used to be automatic when in auto mode. The way I worked it previously was auto mode (atflir point track) did not need tdc depress as this mode automatically updated weapon on engagement.
  8. It would be great to see much larger maps and map streaming. Especially now we have refuelling and aircraft that can easily cross current maps. I'm not saying this means dcs needs to make an f111 too, but it would look nice on a larger map. Definitely bigger maps, and f111.
  9. Hud is on ACL and the VDI is on ILS. There is a large difference between the two. ACL seems to bring you in very low much to the annoyance of the LSO. So low that you often touch down between rampstrike and 1 wire.
  10. Hi there, Noticed with F14 after latest patch yesterday (unsure if if was there prior) that if you put the hud on ILS and VDI on ACLS the two do not match. ILS matches with meatball and ACLS brings you in a lot shallower (lower). Both localiser match. only glide has the discrepancy. Landing with ACLS and all automatics in, the f14 will just miss a ramp strike and will touch down between the ramp and 1 wire. Ver. 2.7.7.14727
  11. Since patch, AI after catapult from supercarrier will pull huge amounts of alpha on take off. So much so that a heavy hornet will crash into the sea every time. F 14b will also pull huge alpha but has the power to manage to not crash. I jumped into a hornet with a heavier weight than the AI and can take off of the carrier just fine, while the AI next to me just noses up and slowly sinks until it hits the water. Version 2.7.4.9632 Update 21.07.2021 Only tested with Super carrier, hornets and F-14b
  12. ok great, will give it a go and let you know {EDIT} Unfortunately it appears it didn't work. Tried with two different helicopters and unfortunately same. Checked by jumping on Official TTI servers and it works there.
  13. Thanks for the missions, they are great, but i have one problem @deadlyfishes and most likely my error somewhere I have your TTI mission (latest version) and am having problems with CSAR. I have activited CSAR in the LUA and csar missions spawn correctly and do all that is required when a helicopter is close. But the ADF frequency from a CSAR pilot does not seem to register (as in there is no signal if you tune it in). I have played around with it a lot and cant get it to work. I jumped into the official TTI servers online and can tune the CSAR frequencies there. So that means it works in the game and i can tune frequencies. That just leaves me making the mission and doing something wrong there. For the helicopters i have followed naming instructions. So am scratching my head where i have botched it up. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  14. I agree. There is no option like the UH1H where you can choose solo. Not as far as i can see. I too would love to know how i can change seats in multiplayer.

I have the exact same problem using TWS AUTO. if i can't move elevation, i try everything (lock blank space, use ACM modes Auto Ack modes, etc) then after a while the elevation will go to -99 and stay there. No controller binding conflict, and keyboard commands cannot rectify the problem instead of using axis. I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with AUTO mode in TWS.
  16. in relation to this previous thread. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=283992 I have noticed that on the carrier doing a FULL align, the CCIP fall line is constantly wrong, even to the point where it is horizontal at target. Playing around with alignment it seems that using STD HDG when aligning does NOT cause this issue and the fall line is correct after the quick align. Full alignment is done on carrier with wheel chocks in place until alignment is complete. Picture is to confirm alignment with chocks in. Unfortunately track file de-syncs and picture of hud no available. Version is 2.5.6.54046
  17. @bignewy There may be a problem with alignment on the carrier causing the issue. I would kindly ask to check doing a cold start full align on a moving carrier versus a hot start or ground start. Ground start seems to not cause problems. Also having extremely poor results post patch where prior on a moving carrier there was no issue.
  18. since update, i am getting a "TAINTED CLIENT" due to changing the viewporthandling.lua to move my kneeboard from bottom right of screen to top left of screen. I have 2 small monitors running my MFD's and can't read the kneeboard in the default position. It never used to cause tainted client. But does now in the latest patch. Any workarounds people know about ? Cheers

  20. Hi there, Since update, I am receiving the following errors with tainted client for multiplayer. Only started happening since latest open beta patch. textures/su-27_detail I am not running any mods with relation to the su27. Any ideas where this file is to delete and reload ? I have tried Satezillas tool and have done a clean and repair. But it still happens. Doesn't happen on every server, only sometimes. Any help appreciated. :helpsmilie:

  22. Hi there, I am having a problem with my landing gear and arrestor hook which deploy randomly without associated key presses. Both come down together. What I have done. Removed all mods. Checked controls binding for double binding. Removed all keyboard commands for hook and gear (now only bound to hotas switch) though it may be voice attack (I have no voice command for gear and hook) but I disabled that anyway. I cannot replicate it on will. It just happens randomly without perceivable cause. I can play for over an hour and it wont happen. Sometimes it happens just after spawn. Its not frequent but a real pain when everything drops and parts go flying off your airframe from overspeed. I mainly use F-14 and F-18 where it happens on both frames. I don't see it happening on ka-50. I am at a loss as to where to look next to troubleshoot. Any help appreciated.
