  1. Greetings, You didn't say which one so I'm guessing 5. http://www.sklep.pilots.pl/product_info.php/products_id/502 Only online shop I could find, it's about 200$ if I'm not mistaken. Here in Belgrade it's 250 euros, or about 300 dollars. But you already know this :P. Jel moze i meni jedan? :D
  2. Grats grats! I was looking to upgrade from my ATi 5850, you guys think it would be a big performance gain or should I wait for the next gen of cards? Oh and I have an Intel i5-750 @ 3.8Ghz, I'm worried it would bottleneck it.
  3. What, no love for the Black Shark? In all seriousness I really hope it turns out ok for ED, and us the fans, and these 3rd party developers actually deliver a high quality product worthy of the DCS name. Otherwise... well... let's hope ED's trust isn't misplaced.
  4. Does prime95 stay stable with the small FFTs option? If so then your CPU is probably fine. My guess would be that your RAM is causing instability. Run either prime95 (with the in-place large fft option or blend) or Memtest86+. Then we will know for sure. In the case that it is the RAM, try to loosen RAM timings and increase RAM voltage (to a safe point!).
  5. My previous PC had a similar fate. I was cleaning the dust like so many times before, and then when I tried to turn it on, nothing, just the fans powered on. It was old and it was time to upgrade it anyway. I'm certain the culprits were either gremlins, or an electrostatic discharge.
  6. What export settings are you using (resolution, codec, bitrate)? The recommended codec is h.264. Bitrate should be about 8 mbps. YouTube uses 16:9 aspect ratio players. If you are uploading a non-16:9 file, it will be processed and displayed correctly as well, with pillar boxes or letter boxes provided by the player. If you want to fit the player perfectly, encode at these resolutions: 1080p: 1920x1080 720p: 1280x720 480p: 854x480 More info EDIT: Oh yeah and don't forget to compress the audio. AAC-LC Codec Stereo Audio Bitrate: 384 kbps
  7. X52 is good, pro or... regular. I heard that some users are reporting an annoying dead zone, others don't seem to mind it. Not really sure what that is about. There is a mod that apperantly fixes this and makes the joystick more responsive. http://www.overclock.net/t/541354/fixed-the-crapness-of-the-x52 Pilotasso did a guide too, but the pics seem to be missing: Improve your X52 precision with this MOD It will void your warranty of course, so I'm not recommending it. It's just something I would do if I had an X52.
  8. Performance will likely be the same, so choose the one that will be more convenient for you. I would go for PCI, just to have the usb port free, never seem to have enough of those.
  9. TBRIS by Irregular programming avalaible now on ED's online shop. :D
  10. How about this one? ASUS G73 It's got stealth too :D EDIT: Newer Model G74
  11. Nicely spotted Fifou!
  12. I was quite sad to find out, after the startup tutorial finished, that there are no more. :( Very well done, in-depth explanations, like how the APU functions and why is it needed at startup and stuff like that. With zero background in aviation it was very interesting to me. IIRC he even did some research here on this forum.
  13. I used to be into RPGs but then I took an arro... ah, forget it.

This is a good thing. There is a group out there that is making the Balkans (or was it Madagascar :P). 'Tis a lot of work. Sure would love to play with some new terrain.
  15. Yeah Avira is pretty cool, I used their linux based rescue system on a few of my friend's infected laptops with great success, better than reinstalling the OS. Just boot it from a usb stick and scan. I use it from time to time to check if MSE missed something.
