  1. Banner/logo is fine (it is set to fit to screen/window width automatically). Problem is caused by CSS rule which sets minimal width (min-width) to 1300 pixels for body element. Please reduce this value, or remove it entirely. This rule should not be there at all - its bad programming practice.
  2. You don’t have to land on this particular pad. Just land on the same FARP, or pad near it and mission will be completed. If I’m not mistaken, there is no way to assign helicopter to particular pad in the mission editor, so AI always takes random, non-occupied one. EDIT: I’m pretty sure that, when I was flying this campaign, I was landing on closest available pad at Madrid FARP (that FARP is second from the west, if I remember correctly) and had no problem with ending a mission.
  3. I really doubt that LN is making this aircraft. AT-802 was some kind of joke/trolling here on the forums. Just Google: “site:forums.eagle.ru at-802”

  5. Well, I can only guess, but I think that kneeboard images becomes more readable when you are using higher resolution in game – kneeboard window scales to X% of screen resolution, but images stays at the same size (768 x 1024 pixels) and are stretched to kneeboard window, so overall its looks bigger and more readable. If I remember right, Bunyap is using some pretty high resolution when flying, so maybe that’s the case – still only guessing. I’m pleased that someone found it useful, because when I finished “working” on those images, I actually learned to start up the MiG without any help, so it didn’t had any use for my anymore – its pretty straight forward machine. ;-)
  6. If you only need startup procedure, then download attached file and extract its contents into: DCS installation folder\Mods\aircraft\MiG-21BIS\Cockpit\KNEEBOARD\indicator\CONTENT\ In game, press RCTRL+Up to show the kneeboard, and then use RCTRL+Left to scroll. They are a bit small in game, but still usable enough. MiG kneeboard.zip
  7. Yep, I had this problem just now. I selected sector 2-1 (its default anyway) and selected beacon no. 3. Heading needle (with circle) was pointing straight, even when I over flown the beacon. After I cycled through few channels it started working again (pointing backward). After selecting beacon no. 5 (as instructed) needle was again pointing forward. I was flying at ~3000m, and heard Morse code when channel 3 and 5 were selected.
  8. Login at the site -> Personal section -> Licensing.
  9. Ten months after Mi-8 was released to public, and four months after this statement English manual is still not available. I don't want to sound mean, but honestly, this is starting to be ridiculous. Do we get it before BST releases yet another module (Sabre?)?
  10. @shagrat I prefer when things being done right, especially when it means DCS modules. On other hand, I’m software developer. If I would tell my client, that this and this would be done at end of July, and then state that I will do that to September, but it will be done RIGHT this time, I would lose my contract. Alright, Leatherneck is not my employee, I didn’t sign any contract with them, so I don’t have any means to demand anything from them, and I understand that they cannot be responsible for “promises” made by Beczl. Still, it’s somewhat disgusting that we are waiting so long for this, especially people who put real money into this project (thank god I only “invested” 20 bucks…).
  11. I would love to look like this. I think, that nothing tastes better, than own hate post spiced with MiG-21 finally released. ;-)
  12. I will be very surprised if they release this thing this year. After loads of delays, troubles of any kind, and even removing one of the most important guy from the team, I’m ready for anything. Even the license problems with MiG design bureau or some other legal stuff. One would think, that this project was initially planned to be released in 2012…
  13. Then we can only hope, that this issue will be resolved, and project finished. Still, announcement about possibility of canceling this project was heavy blow to me (and I guess not only me). I can only whish those guys good luck with resolving this issue, and finally releasing project they were working at for years.
  14. Start from here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=87621&page=92 Here you can find original post from studio Beczl: http://www.dcs-uvp.cz/images/mig21down.txt EDIT: There wasn’t any official response to this from Beczl yet (or I don’t know about it). We can only assume, that this was some kind of miss understandment, or whatever. If it wasn’t, then such announcement at this point can only mean very serious problems.
  15. You mean that "lever" on your left (collective)? Well, its non-clickable like in Huey. You can only control it with keyboard/joystick. Same goes for engine throttle (two yellow levers at left wall). You can move them with PageUp and PageDown keys.
  16. In order to start engines in A-10C you have to push throttle from OFF to IDLE. This can be done with keyboard (or if you bound keys to stick/whatever) only. Throttle is not clickable. Rebind keys called “Engine Start Left” (RALT+HOME) and “Engine Start Right” (RCTRL+HOME), to whatever you want/can and then try again starting engines. Note: if you already bound your throttle axis, you have to pull it down to 0, before pressing those buttons, or they wont work.
  17. I completed your campaign today, and I really enjoyed it. Good job, Operation Jackal was great too. There was one “bug”: Right when you start mission 2, there is a audio briefing, but it seems like two different audio files are played at once, so it’s barely understandable. I started it for the second time, and that bug happened again.
  18. I want to put my 5 cents. I don’t know if anybody cares, but whatever. I’m huge fan of DCS series. I don’t have much interest of UH-1, and some aircraft being produced, or even released, but I’m going to buy everything if it has 6DOF, clickable cockpit, and is real as it possible. Even third party stuff. I was “defending” myself from buying P-51D, because I don’t exactly like WW2 era planes, plus it don’t belongs to DCS series (in my opinion). Still, I bought it after 3 days after release. Same thing was with FC3. I’m going to pay even for glider, if someone is going to make it to DCS standards. When it comes to UH-1, you just popped out of nowhere announcing it being released soon (“DCS: UH-1H Huey will be available for pre-purchase later this year for $39.99.”, announcement date: 10-09-2012), and in my opinion, it was big mistake. As a DCS fan, I can understand that you have some problems with releasing it, but as a customer I don’t care, and I want to see something about product I’m about to purchase. After 5-6 month we have nothing, except outdated cockpit screenshot, and DCS World wallpaper. For me, as a customer, there is two ways of announcing/releasing project: - Announce it early, and provide us with screenshots, videos as development continues. - Don’t do any public announcement before you have ready to release, or near release ready, product. I`m pretty disappointed with your policy of announcing and sitting almost silent (or at least providing us with anything solid to make us think about buying your product), that I`m probably not going to buy this module in near future. This is only my opinion as customer. Wish you all the best with UH-1 project.
  19. No, install it into different directory (default perhaps?). After you have installed DCS World, and A-10C module, you can safely uninstall A-10C standalone. You really should get even cheap stick, if you want to enjoy this sim. Back then I was using Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Well, it wasn’t great, but still much better than keyboard, and it was pretty affordable.
  20. DCS A-10C and DCS Ka-50 standalones are outdated at the moment. Currently there is DCS World, that brings all modules together, as single application (plus its modules are up-to-date). Download DCS World from here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?ProductId=21&end_pos=137&scr=product&lang=en And A-10C MODULE from here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=8&end_pos=136&lang=en Install DCS World, then install A-10C module. Start world, and launch mission with A-10C. You will be asked to enter your A-10 serial number.
  21. You are comparing military technology of two countries (which every one have different approach to military itself) by amount of aircraft carriers currently in service or stealth planes technology? Way to go. As for 120s, or 77s. I think all was already said. You guys really need some reality check. AMRAAM development started in mid 70`s, and 77`s few years later. The only problem is, that USSR collapsed in 91, following massive economic crisis in Russia in early 90`s. Nobody even thought about further developing of new air to air missiles at that time and it was put into service “as is”, so it was a little bit “delayed” compared to US program. Before you make any more “mods”, can you please make sure, which version of those missiles (120, 77) are actually modeled in the sim? Please note, DCS is home for aircrafts/tech from all different eras, some things are just non-comparable.
  22. Older missions were carrying some config files (one of them is snap views related). 1) Open mission file with WinRAR (or software like this, the .miz file is simply ZIP archive). 2) Delete directory named "Config". 3) Close the archiver, and commit changes (if asked). That’s it. You should be able to use your own snap views.
  23. Missing textures. Some missions in campaign for Su-25T (also some SP missions as well), have those problems. You may fix this with ME, just by changing skin of Ka-50.
