I had a look at the video. Excellent work. Our squad (159th) has now been operating the Ka50 for six months, but I learned a great deal about the tests that should be done before flight. :thumbup: I think that you're on to a winner here. I think that good quality info and presentation should be rewarded. Sometimes we can take for granted the time and effort that the community puts into sims. I would consider paying for a quality product. So more power to you. :pilotfly:

In teamspeak you can have a whisper to function setup. So you can talk with your wingman (or in your senario, a WSO) without transmitting on the main channel. I have used it many times with the squad.

Excellent vid / tutorial. :thumbup: One thing that puzzles me though. In STT mode on the top left you get the aspect angle readout. In your example the bandit was left of you yet the aspect showed 15R. Why? I should know this but am having a dementia moment.:hmm:

4 of us from the 159th flew this mission last Friday, we had a blast. I've never shouted as much in my life. Total immersion!! Best flown as part of a team. Well done RvE!! :thumbup:

I've been using TrackIR 4 for over a year and a half and it just blew me away when I first used it. Makes flying all the more realistic. One thing to note though, if your using the Pro Clip that fixes on the left side of your headset, then make sure you place the TrackIR unit on the left of your monitor. Otherwise you find that when you turn your head left you loose tracking.

I'm glad folks are finding the chart useful. One thing to mentioned to those new to SPO 15 is that you need to be aware of the fact that when you bank at 45 degrees for more than 8 seconds you'll loose the radar painting you. Same with climbing and diving. This is due to the limit the RWR detectors. I find that with R27s you must be reacting to the other AC thats trying to guide the missile on to you. Force him to go beyond the gimbal limits of his radar and the missile will loose lock. If someone shoots a 120 or R77 then you want to focus on the missile; make it work hard and loose energy. I have another chart for ground / ship based threats. If anyone is interested PM me.

159th please, although we don't normally fly A10s, we have 4 pilots who do regularly practice in A10s. Would like to get involved.
