  1. Good idea, I will try it next time. But in the kneeboard the initial coordinates that Jester always uses are a different waypoint that is not the selectable wp1 2 3 hb dp st but an extra one.
  2. Is this a bug or a feature not yet implemented? If I fly solo in multiplayer mission and land at a different airbase than I started from, shut down, repair, then start up again Jester will punch in the original base or boat position again and messing up the navigation making the jet unusable. Is there a workaround for this ? Since it is on a multiplayer server I can't switch to the RIO and fix it manually. I feel like there should be a Jester menu or kneeboard option to update the starting position to the current position.
  3. How do you get the AC-130 to attack in TAC25 properly? Also can you use the supporting flight to hit a specific targets ? Or they will attack what they want ?

  5. lil problem here, doing the BT02 mission in the campaign and after turning to 060 I didn't get the instructions to shut down the engine. So after about 5 min I quit... I got 75 score and got kicked into the next mission... Can I got back to BFT02 without restarting the campaign ? ty
  6. I changed the player aircraft to the TF-51 with the mission editor and it works. Usual good work :D

  8. Yes I have I can play the cold start default mission just fine. Or is the module I have is just a demo? I never payed for it, I assumed I got it as a gift for buying other stuff. Edit: I can not have weapons and I cant add them in editor, dose this mean I don't have the P-51 ?
  9. When I start the mission im spectating a AI jet, there is not player aircraft ... whats going on ?

Ok here is an idea: Leap Motion (https://www.leapmotion.com/) + Oculus Leap Motion can see your both hands in 3d in front of the monitor, you can present the hand in 3d in-game, and you can use the virtual hand to flick all the switches the in the pit... no need for keyboard. (didn't read the thread so if anyone already come up with this sry) Edit: or just present a virtual keyboard (like the one on a tablet) and you can operate it with the virtual hand
  11. Oh my, this is what over thinking dose to you. I went inot the DCS install directory and looked for executables, I found that file a run it, but ofc nothing happened. The short cut the the start menu have command line parameter in there :DD Thx for the help, I feel stupid :DD
  12. Hi I cancelled the auto updater, and now when I start the sim it dose not continue downloading the patch and just starts 1.2.2 Anyone know how can force it to continue or restart the update ? Thx

  15. Hi It was mentioned in another thread that a dead pilot (in loogbook) can be resurrected with some lua editing. I searched the forums for a way, but only fund some info about Black Shark, and those files I could not find in my A10 install. Help plz, my pilot died recently, but I didn't know that the campaign progress will be lost with him too. ( I thought I can continue with a different pilot, but everything went back to inactive)
  16. Al right It happened, my second campaign 15 + hours lots of kills. I finally died. I could not eject in time :( So time for that lua hacking you mentioned, I searched for the method but I only found hint for this for BS, and I could not find that folder they mention there. Help me out to resurrect him pls.
  17. Thx for the info. But tbh, an even simpler solution would be to separate the take off waypoint from the start location. Have the start location on mission start, and let the mission builder set the take off waypoint and time, and keep the "relativeness" to teh takeoff waypoint.
  18. Hi all I know there is a full downloadable "ramp start modified" Georgian hammer campaign in the user file section. But with that I run into a problem where I lose all my inputs after about 40 - 50 min in game. So I opened up the missions myself and checked out some things. I noticed that the start time is not modified even you will be much late for all waypoints if you cold start. My question is, what will happen if I move the mission start time 10 minutes earlier. Will it break anything ? I'm not familiar with the triggers , are there "from the start" type triggers that will be messed up because of a different start time ? Edit: Ah never mind, I made a copy of the first mission and tried it, but as soon as I modified the start time all my waypoint times were moved back too, and I was not able to change the times individually :(
  19. I would trade one of my engines for a push back feature like in FS. Just ask the ground crew to push back left right or straight in the intercom. Should work on "stuck in grass". Those tractors are strong :D Would solve those "half dead cant taxi" scenarios.
  20. I got really scared the first time in this sim! BTF 09 OMG , I'm flying with vulnerable pilot logbook! Nearly died, but I live and the aircraft is in one piece on the tarmac, got and unqualified ofc. Time to practice I guess. Great mission :thumbup: But I'm scared to fly more today :cry:
  21. No, just the ATC, didn't try the campaign yet, just flying some practice. But I see other aircrafts taking off and landing on the same airfield, yet they don't talk. If in a more busy environment I tune to other flight's radio, will I hear them talking? That would be nice.
  22. Maybe this was discussed here already but my search didn't find anything. Yesterday as I went to bed something struck me, there is no radio chatter! It is always dead silent, only thing I can hear is myself and the one I'm talking to :(. In my opinion, it would add a lot to immersion to hear the AI using the radio. Even some general scripted radio usage like ATC calls, Mayday calls. But a working dynamic radio usage would be the best. :thumbup:

You did the ground work, now start programming , 1.11 is not far :smartass: Just kidding of course :smilewink: (no, really) I work in the game developer business myself, so I know very well the time, energy and hard work needed to implement new features. But if you ever have the opportunity, this would be a nice addition. :thumbup:
