  1. I'm sure it would the easiest thing to mod. All you need is an invisible box.
  2. It would be handy to have an object that doesn't render to do that with, though. That shouldn't be too hard to achieve.
  3. Hi I usually start the engines with ALT / CTRL + HOME combination but how can you do it just from the cockpit when in VR? Jason
  4. Hi Wasn't sure whether to post this here on in the WWII assets pack. I'll try here first as the question itself is general. After flying a mission and returning to base in the Spitfire, I had a play around and left the aircraft using the eject button. I then had a walk around the base and to my surprise, found I could enter another uncontrolled aircraft nearby. When I did so, I saw my previous pilot avatar, in full RAF WW2 attire. So this made me wonder if it's possible to make that pilot available as an asset in a mission? It would be great to do that because there are very few WWII assets available for UK in WII. All we have is a private in a tin hat. Jason
  5. Hi Ironhand Yes, that's what I did in the end. That's an OK solution. Jason
  6. Thanks. I meant AI aircraft. There seems to be no obvious way to keep them on the ground unless you choose UNCONTROLLED and then do stuff with triggers to start them. But uncontrolled means the engine is off. I wanted to have the engines running in this mission I'm working on.
  7. Hi! Is there any way to have an aircraft with its engines RUNNING (ie controlled) but NOT take off straight away, but wait five minutes on the parking spot? Thanks
  8. Sorry to dig this up again, but where should we put sounds now if we have created them for a mission?
  9. Since we already have a Channel map, it would be nice to have all the aircraft to do Battle of Britain scenarios. Right now we could get away with just adding AI 111s or 88s so we've got something to shoot at in single player missions.
  10. Hi There wasn't a category for the Channel so I'm asking here. I wondered if there were any He 111s or if there is a way to get the older aircraft format mods working in the current version? I wanted to make some BoB missions with bombers attacking Kent airfields. Jason
  11. Video I've made my own video now which explains how to bomb a ground target using auto-release, plus many other things that I initially had difficulty with.
  12. I was indeed using the bomb release button incorrectly. It works now, although the reticle does not lock on the glass when caged. Great fun flying this jet!
  13. This video might be useful. The pipper seems to roll even when it's caged also...
  14. Thanks for the reply. The instructions say you should press and hold the cage button before you begin the dive, and release it when the pipper is steadily aligned with the target... Aagin the instructions say that when you press the electronic cage button, the pipper should be locked, ie. not moving in respect to the reflective glass, and yet it does move. However, what I wasn't doing was pressing and holding the bomb release and whilst holding it release the cage button, as you suggested. So I'll try that next.
  15. Hi I can't get the A-4 sight to cage electronically, nor the bombs to auto-release. I have bound a button on the joystick to electronic cage, but when when I hold it down, the pipper is still floating around on the reflective glass, when it should be rigid. And the bombs never auto release. When do you press the release-bomb button? Any help appreciated. Jason
