  3. What? I want this!! More specifically the hmcs profile 2 to not occlude anything and profile 3 to occlude everything. To set this up every time I join a server is just a massive hassle. Would be nice if this could be auto loaded though a .lua

  5. According to my experience visible range is mostly bottlenecked by your cpu. You'll see that you gpu will be limited in usage when increasing visible range. Id suggest overclocking your cpu and then start increasing your visib range until your fps gets low again. To put more stress on your gpu you can up the anti aliasing etc.
  6. Please ED put some bug detecting experts on this update. I've been suffering way too long now from these random crashes .... is it really that hard to find bugs you have just introduced with new code?
  7. can you upload the standard dcs config files here please. Had some problems updating and now I cant join the server anymore. Also can't find any threads on you 104th phoenix website forum (not even when using an us proxy). plz unblock all EU users and get the cookie popup working or just ignore the stupid law. Its getting really annoying to have to do 2 hours of troubleshooting everytime i want to get in mt A10C. Also, why are tacview and tars not allowed?
  8. You can use control + enter to see the control input screen. Here you can see how your plane is trimmed and the position dcs thinks your stick is at. Dont forget to also check the position/trim of your rudders. If this is pointing to the left there is probably something with your trim or stick. If the stick is at fault you can re-calibrate it in your windows device settings. It could also have to do with asymmetrical fuel.
  9. thanks for considering, hope you don't mind if i spill couple more ideas. I like to play on your server but sometimes its pretty hard to get a fair game in an a10c with all the fc3 players out there. -have us airplanes (a10/f15 etc) on blue team russian (su 25/su27) on red, this way you have all the airplanes with sadl capability in one team. With sadl setup in advance it would help teamplay and reduce accidental teamkilling. Also it helps to not have to guess wheter its a friendly su27 or enemy su27 (iff doesnt work on a10) -you might want to disable aim120 i have heard its performance is unrealistically good (long range lockons etc.) and therefore unfair against planes that cant use it, removing it would also make dogfights more exiting because you have to get closer in. -would be great to start a10c with approx 70% fuel, one rarely uses the full 100% before all weapons are expended and removing fuel takes a long time when arming the plane. ps i cant find the awacs frequency in my comms menu, I can see the awacs callsign but to reach it I first have to set the right frequency wich I cant find in the brief. From experience I found out its 124mhz am but that is not always the same..
  10. A couple of other ideas that might help your server run smooth. Include the awacs frequency (and others) in the brief Put a map in the brief to clarify objectives/ waypoints Have the hogs start out with an standard payload the way you want it (for example no mavs and cbus but with mk82's 70% fuel etc.. Saves a lot of time with the rearming/refueling. Maybe shorten the brief a bit, its a compelling story but it makes it a litte hard to extract the goals, frequency's and other important info. Everybody comes there to fly so possibly put the story in a separate place or shorten it. just my 10 cents..
  11. also plz name waypoints in the order of tgt alpha , beta etc and setup the net ids for everybody in advance, that way you'll be able to see all friendlys without everybody needing to set up.

  13. Problem with the new FC3 is that all these mixed servers stat popping up with easy to fly fighters and a10c's. Useless to get in an a10 there because you will instantly get shot and have no possibility of shooting back. Pretty irritating to have to start up, fly 10 minutes and get shot by a noob 4 times in a row. Also these guys see you from miles out and you can barely get a visual since all planes are tiny dots. That was my rant... What can we do about this problem?
  14. You can (selective)jettison it while armed but it will generally be an cbu 87 then. Also you wont get the ccip info on the hud to help you place it. Anybody know how to get ccip on the hud while jettisonning?
  15. Its like your iphone (or the other way around), sometimes you have to swing the gyros around to get them pointing in the right direction.
  16. Or just a chat function in the normal lobby. Some other things: -player list of people in server -list of available airplanes in server browser -fix history -allow favorites -searching using filters -DEDICATED servers please. At least improve it a little bit.
  17. What does each variable do? Trying to tweak the high.lua file but i have no idea what this for example does land_detailNoise= { Height = 300.0; <------ Slope = 0.0; Also are the values next to field FarDistance the ranges in feet?

  19. Also longer visible range on ground vehicles, now I get vehicles popping up way after I can see the shed standing next to it.

We definitely need a server list sorting feature capable of sorting on: -available aircraft and type -players (also be able to see player names in browser) -password protected -ping -etc. Also a better mission progress tracking system would help a lot in multiplayer. And hopefully one day, ingame teamspeak+tars for everybody.

  22. Well, at least its an improvement. Lets hope the next patch gets rid of the black buildings.
  23. I would also add speed is 0 and unit is still alive trigger rules otherwise you could just crash into the farp and it would be recaptured. Don't know if these triggers are possible though.
  24. Hey, can you guys please include changelogs with the updates. You can post them on this forum or include them in the auto updater. It would help us to help you in finding the new bugs which might get introduced.
