  1. I did not see any way to add DCS World to my library. I WAS logged in but since I no longer have Steam installed maybe that was the reason why? Is there a way to purchase a DCS plane without actually having Steam installed? Aviar
  2. A lot of excellent posts here. I learned a great deal. Thanks to everyone! Aviar
  3. http://store.steampowered.com/app/306240/ Steam version has Starforce DRM.... Aviar
  4. Are you sure? It says $49.99 on my screen. Aviar
  5. Fair enough. Personally, I am more interested in the Korean-era jets. If what skendzie said about Belsimtek is accurate, it's not unusual. However, strictly as a consumer, I'm wondering about Eagle Dynamics' official word on this subject. After all, they are charging a hefty amount for these products. Is there no specific information as to just what a person may be purchasing? (Possibly a list of incomplete features still in development.) Am I being unreasonable to even post such a question? Maybe the information is listed somewhere on this site? I do have a question for players who have purchased one or more of these 'beta' Korean-era jets. After purchasing your 'beta' product, were you ever informed of an update/patch for your particular product? Basically, I'm concerned about how long these products have been listed as 'beta' and how I can find out if they are still in active development or possibly in 'beta' limbo. To be fair, I'm not saying I wouldn't purchase a 'beta' product. I'm just particular about knowing exactly what I'm buying. Aviar
  6. I'm new here so I was wondering about something. I noticed that some of the products for sale (F-86F, MiG-15bis, etc.) are listed as 'beta'. I'm no genius but I know that 'beta' does not mean 'final'. I did not see any explanation of why these products were still in beta. Are these items still in development? If so, is there a page I can visit to see the current progress? Aviar
  7. Thanks. I deleted that file and it seemed to have fixed my problem. Man, that is one dangerous command. I won't be using it anymore. Aviar
  8. I can't. This is my default view when I start a mission. It is also now my F1 view (the view you want me to use). So you see I'm in a real bind (no pun intended). I can't 'look forward' like you want me to. That's my problem. Also, I don't use TrackIR. Did I really mess up bad here? I've been trying for hours to try and fix this but I think I made a real boo boo. Also, I can't find ( *your username*/Savedgames/DCS/Config/View). I never made a username so I don't know what folder this is in. Can you give me the full path? If I delete this file my problem will be fixed? Aviar
  9. I'm a DCS noob and I was curious about a command I saw in the Cockpit Views section called Save Cockpit Angles. I had no idea what it was and while I was looking around I pressed the command. Well, it messed up my forward cockpit view (F1). (See screenshot) I can't get my default F1 view back. Any suggestions? Aviar
