I have a similar problem. If DCS is my only windowed program running I have to press ctrl+alt+del to open the task manager, then I am able to run any other program.

Hello. I am posting this here because it is a specific question about this module, maybe one of the developers can provide some help. I am trying to export cockpit information via LUA. With all the other modules I tried I can get gauge information from mainpanel, but with this module I cannot find the gauges. Neither in mainpanel_init_common.lua nor mainpanel_init.lua from the C-101EB. Does anybody know how can I export this information?

[ALREADY REPORTED]Harpoon wont fly to HPTP When I fire the AGM-84D in BOL mode, with a HPTP selected, the missile will turn immediately to the bearing selected in BRG, instead of flying to the turnpoint before turning. In the track attached I fire two missiles. First with WP2 as HTPT and then a bearing of 166. Second with WP2 as HTPT and bearing of 090. Screenshot of the configuration of the first missile. Hello. I want to gift a module to a friend on a certain date. Is it possible to schedule the gift? or do I have to buy the module at the moment I want him to receive it? And a second question about Black Shark. Is there any way that I can transfer my Steam Black Shark (bought in 2010 and it has no serial number), together with the BS2 upgrade to a full BS2 licence? Thank you Tom. What you propose seems more like a workaround, but it will provide an exact course. Will try that. Somewhere in the menus must be the information about distances and courses of the sequence, the aircraft has this data and it is useful for the pilot.

Hi all! Is there a way to know the bearing or track between two waypoints? Suppose I am navigating from WP0 to WP1. I want to program my Harpoons to fly to WP2 and follow the course to WP3. How can I know this track before being actually flying from WP2 to WP3? So far I can find an approximation by setting the HSI to North Up and looking at the line in the sequence (this could be easier if I could slew the map, but I coudn't get the SLEW to work). I was wondering if there is some flight plan info page with information such as track and distance between waypoints. Thanks

Hi all, I am creating a small mod for the A10C. Most of the information I need can be exported in the lua file, but when it comes to the radar altitude (or the AGL altitude, anyone could work) I cant find how to get it. I tried with LoGetAltitudeAboveGroundLevel() but it does not work, it makes the Export.lua fail. All the other information I got was obtained from the gauges with MainPanel:get_argument_value(x) knowing each gauge index from mainpanel_init.lua. With the exceptions of LoGetAltitudeAboveSeaLevel() and LoGetTrueAirSpeed(), which works with no problem.

I found the solution to the wrong detection of the Steam version of Black Shark. Steam must be run as administrator, this way the registry is updated showing an activation of BS and BS2 update can be installed.

No solution yet to this issue? I wrote a ticket a couple of days ago, 21583. Having BS from Steam I cant install BS2 1.2.4, I am selecting upgrade with international code. HotalAlpha, This solves the installation or the activation problem?

The freeze problem might be caused by the X52 not being able to display long button names. When you press a button the name of the command assigned to this button is displayed on the throttle, if this name is too long the X52 freezes. Apart from that I never had a problem with my X52, neither with old versions of BS and A-10C or with the DCS World modules.

I don't see how one BS1 license could be used by many people. You have got your BS1 license and if once it is bound to an account it cannot be unbounded so only one user will be able to use it.

Actually Steam does not provide a serial number for Black Shark, although it does for A-10C. But if they really wanted to solve this issue they could make it work for both Steam and non-Steam versions.

I asked for a solution like this in a couple of tickets about problems activating and/or installing BS2 update. They said they can not do this.

No, there is no such link in Steams BS1. As I said before, the activation in Steam is different for BS (not for A-10 which provides a serial number)

I tried that WarthogSmurf, but with Steam there is no serial number provided like with the Steam A-10C, which comes with a CD Key. Steam BS has a completely different way of activation. I uninstalled Steam's BS and install BS from ED, when prompted for the serial I tried with the serial number that the steam version put on the registry and it did not work.

The solution you proposed did not work, I think it might be related to the installer not detecting the Steam version, which does not need any serial, and the one it installs in the registry is different from the serials provided by Eagle Dynamics for Black Shark. Now I am able to run BS2, but not because this problem was solved. What I did was to copy the folder Mods/aircrafts/Ka-50 from the old computer to the new one, then I was able to activate BS2 without any problem. So this is still an open issue, other people might have the same problem and the workaround I used might not work for them. As always, legitimate customers are punished.

Hello all, Again, as every time I have to install BS2 update I have a problem. Now is the Black Shark must be installed and activated. I am pretty sure I did the steps as required (it was the 3rd time I install BS2 update, now it was because I got a new PC). Steps followed: - Installed Steam BS and played a mission in single player and another in multi. - Installed DCS World using DCS_World_release_en_1.2.2.7570_69 - Installed A-10C using A-10C_release_en_1.2.2.7570_69 - Run KA-50_bs1update_en_1.2.2.7570_69 and error "DCS Black Shark 1 must be installed and activated" - Run DCS World and activated A-10C - Deleted Steam BS - Again, installed Steam BS and played a mission in single player and another in multi - Again, run KA-50_bs1update_en_1.2.2.7570_69 and error "DCS Black Shark 1 must be installed and activated" I tried both with normal and admin privileges and nothing worked. Anyone with the same problem was able to solve it?

Problem solved. I reinstalled the KA-50 update module with a newer installer that seems to have been released yesterday KA-50_bs1update_en_1.2.2.7122_23.exe In order to be able to install it I first deleted the folder Ka-50 in DCS World/Mods/Aircrafts Then I downgraded DCS World to 7122 executing dcs_updater.exe update :1.2.2.7122 in DCS World/bin Installed the KA50 module Activated KA50 running ka50_protect.exe from DCS World/Mods/Aircrafts/Ka-50/bin Hope it helps to anyone with the same problem

Hi, I have a problem when activating BS2 update with last version of DCS World. Searching in the forums I did not find any related post to this problem. After deleting old DCS World 1.2.0, with working A10 and BS2, to update to newer DCS World (downloaded November 11th) I tried to run the simulator and the activation dialogue popped up. I successfully activated A10 (no activation wasted) and failed to activate BS2 update due to hardware code. Then I run the registry cleaner file from ED forums and started DCS World again. A10 was succesfully activated (which cost me an activation) and failed to activate BS2 update, the message is "The system requires the correct Serial Number of the application to perform this operation. The Serial Number entered is wrong or mistyped. Enter a valid Serial Number and try again." I am unable to activate it and it seems that the activation dialogue is not working properly because if I click on "other", "deactivate" or "I already have an Activation Key" the behaviour is the same as if I click "Next", so I am unable to enter the serial number in an alternative way. I made sure I downloaded the correct version of the BS2 update file and I have the BS1 installed and activated (Steam version).

I tried to update it with the files in the same directory and it didn't work. I am in contact with Eagle Dynamics support and after several messages to try different things (reinstall BS, delete registry entry,...) I am still unable to install BS2
