  1. Totally agree with you. However, I know that product must be profitable for the company. So i accept total price as it is, but I'm also against separation maps and assets. What will come next separate airports? Towns? It could easily become overwhelming. - Distribution of missions and campaigns will become more complicated. - MP servers will have more requirements. Currently there is often many servers with only few pilots flying. If you make additional separation according assets there will be even less chance to have more players on single server. I accept any price for the products but I would like to keep things simple also.
  2. I have no answer to the specific question but I would like to confirm the problem when Sidewinder has been launched instead BK90. That happens to me once. The second run went ok. I think I've done everything like the first time. Also, I had success only with mixed type of munition. The other two types didn't destroyed anything regardless direct hit.
  3. Are there any Viggen updates scheduled for today?
  4. Because I would like to give it to a friend. Thank you!
  5. I understand. Few days ago I was assembling even smaller version of that connector on rc plane. It is really PITA. Then I agree with Sokol1, I think it is best to follow his advice and avoid soldering near the board.
  6. I think you could fix this without any new items. If you succeed to pull out the pin of yellow wire than the fix is very simple. -cut 2mm of insulation on yellow wire -solder yellow wire on the pin. You can pull out old wire with tweezers while heating it up with solder. If you can't do that, just soleder the wire on the top of the pin, it should hold on good enough. -return the pin in the connector
  7. You can fix this. Just take something thin (small screwdriver) and push the safety pin(not sure if the phrase is correct) on the connector of the yellow wire. It is on the other side of the connector on your photo. You should be able to pull out that pin from the connector. Than reconnect yellow wire with pin and push it back in connector. Pin is small and this is tedious job, but you will end up with this same work even you order new connector anyway.
  8. Yea, I'm using 44M. I think the only difference is that 44M is thicker than 30L so it should hold on longer under pressure on the gimbal.
  9. Well, when you see Mineral, and Lithium, it is probably good only for metal joints. I've lubed my stick with Molykote 44M grease http://www.ebay.com/itm/280573844554...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (I ordered exactly this item) and it works good for over two years for now. I think now is the time to clean it and grease it again, but I thing two years is pretty good score. I'm also using 10cm extension. Those two things (grease and extension) solved my problems with sticking and precision permanently.
  10. Yes, I have that problem too... Black screen after trying to save controls settings. In previous version I succeed to fix it by deleting mirage input mappings in saved games folder and rebind it from scratch, but now it doesn't help.
  11. This happens to me also. Although not right away. Trackir is working correctly for about 15min and then some of the axis has stop working. I think X and forward/backward. I have noticed this in multiplayer. Not sure if this happens in single player.
  12. I voted Yes! Among other reasons I would add one more. - we have very interesting terrain configuration here. Sea, many islands, mountains, rivers and flat land. Ideal for wide range of mission scenarios. ... and more important, I would really like to land Huey in my backyard ;)
  13. I swear! No troll. I'm sorry didn't take screenshot... Price was $49.99
  14. I saw her on https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/gazelle/ ...but now she is gone. Hope she will come back soon ;)
  15. Thank you very much! This is great, really remarkable! Eddie, I don't have words to admire you enough. To you and to 476th. Well done guys!
  16. Regardless playing Blue Flag campaign is free, guys are working really hard to make the whole thing possible. Also server resources are not free. So, if you enjoy playing campaign, it would be great if you are able to donate few bucks for the servers and other expanses. Donations can be submitted on BuddySpike web site. http://www.buddyspike.net/home If we collect more money for server resources, we could have less glitches - lags, warping and crashes. Greg, it may be good idea to graphically(or with spreadsheet) represent server resources and donations, so everybody can visualize what amount of money is needed for particular resources.
  17. My friends sometimes called me Luciano because of my nick name ;). Btw, I'm living near Italy (Trieste) so I'm often visiting Italian north. I'm planing to pay a visit to Sicily once. My friend was there last summer traveling on motorbike. He said it is beautiful and people are really nice also. About manual lase... yea I'll give it a try. Seems as good idea to avoid picking profile settings while flying. Buon volo mio amico!
  18. I agree with your statements. Until recently I have not flown MP so there was no opportunity to do buddy lasing but I hope that will change soon. :)
  19. First of all, Lucky, I hate you because you have the same nick as me so I couldn't take it at the time I was creating forum account. ;) Before dropping GBU-12, I always set up profile options AUTO LASE - ON and LS TIME - 10 seconds and CCRP mode. Works good for me. Here is tutorial by Wags: [ame] [/ame] Tip: If you forget to turn laser on prior to dropping bomb, error messages will appear on MFDs. Don't panic! Just turn on laser switch and press Ins key on keyboard. This will turn laser on manually. Good luck!
  20. Yes there is. mklink command is the way to go. 1) Move the whole Eagle Dynamics folder structure to the SSD disk. 2) Using mklink command make symbolic link Here is syntax: mklink /J [old location] <new location> Here is tutorial I found for you: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1446905 The tutorial is for Steam game, but the same can be applied on any application. Tip.: The same system can be used to free space on SSD disk moving some files on HDD. Good luck!
  21. I have bought metal 10cm extension from Sahaj. The guy has made web page in the meantime (http://warthog-extensions-by-sahaj.com/). Anyway I would not recommend to go longer than 10cm except for some special usage. With extension longer than 10cm, centering spring on Warthog is not strong enough to center the stick by itself. If you fly mainly planes maybe 7.5 cm will be the best for you. 10cm planes/helis. I think longer than 10cm is only suitable for helicopters. After I bought extension I have never unmounted it from my stick. I'm still not sure why the extension is not provided by Thrustmaster. I think it should come in the box along the new Worthog. At least one.
  22. Well, I'm using Dropbox(https://www.dropbox.com/) and GoodReader (http://www.goodreader.com/). This is most convenient system for me because I already use Dropbox and I love GoodReader app. If you are also using some cloud drive and GoodReader, this would be the most easy way for you also. 1. Open Dropbox (or some other cloud storage) folder on the PC and copy all PDFs there. 2. Open GoodReader app on the iPad. Choose your cloud storage and select PDF you want to read. Good luck!
  23. Maybe you could try to backup your controller settings and than delete it. Controller settings are in your Saved Games folder \DCS\Config\Input, \DCS Open Beta\Config\Input or \DCS Open Alpha\Config\Input depending which version you are using. Start DCS and try to setup controls from the scratch. Edit: Also be aware if you have some other devices that you do not use for flying ie XBox controls. They could interfere with your Hotas and take over some controls because DCS creates default assignments for them. If so, just delete all assignments for that device (category).
  24. I really don't think the Reaper cares about the color of the kitchen. :smilewink:
