  1. Did a quick test, same Ready on the ramp mission, Nevada F18, pre-MT FPS 35-40 on the ramp. Post-MT 65 -75 FPS, 90+ in flight in VR, HP G2 AMD Ryzen 5600X, with AMD 6800 GPU and 64 Gb DDR$ 3600 Thank you ED!!!!
  2. I finally had the time to update the OpenXR toolkit this afternoon. And I see a higher FPS but I can't get the menu to show up by pressing CTRL F2. I uninstalled the older version as I thought I read it was recommended. Any ideas? Thanks!!!
  3. no because I asked for a replacement HMI. How about I just upgrade everything to the new blue version with the smaller FCU and AUX buttons
  4. Miles, I still have the original wires for the AUX buttons. So let me check later this week when I am home again.
  5. I was able to get to reset all the settings but how do you confirm that? I had it selected but did not seem to do anything
  6. By adding the parameters I was able to get it to work with my G2. I started going through the menus and I turned on Turbo mode. I got the warning about reproject not possible with turbo mode. my headset went black and DCS froze. I rebooted but now it crashes on start up. I used safe start/booth in the OpenXR companion tool and that allows me to start DCS again . But I can't change the settings in the OpenXR menu. It show running in safe mode. I also tried to turning off safe mode and reprojection in the OpenXR app, thinking that this way it will not interfere with the Turbo mode but that did not work either. I think that it remembers the turbo mode ON and there fore crashes. I was able to run it once before I changed the setting in the Toolkit. How do I reset all the settings while not being in safe mode. And no I can't access the menu as it crashes. Thanks
  7. I was able to test it tonight and is it correct that only 4 buttons respond? 3 on the left one and the middle one on the right one?
  8. Well I had a v1 and has been replaced with a v2 now. So are AUX buttons are listed as devices in the control, settings? I will have to test this tonight
  9. Ok, thanks. And the AUX buttons still have a letter for each button? Because I wanted add the FCS-bit (y) for when you test the FCS in the hornet. Pushing any of the 6 buttons gave no letter. That is why I asked
  10. I did the same and agree and I run a 5600X with 64 Gb and a 6800 GPU. one thing that drives me nuts and hope I can change it when I put the headset on the keyboard focus changes to the headset. It is a problem for MSFS2020. I have to use Win key plus Y all the time. I use OpenXR but have not spent a lot of time optimizing the settings. I love the clarity
  11. Quick question, I received a replacement HMS and I have the AUX buttons. I seem to remember that you needed to load a specific firmware to make those work. Unfortunately the firmware page does not load and times out. I went on Discord and leaned about the new experimental firmware. I downloaded it and started going through read first. One of the first steps is to download the original firmware. has it been moved? The other PointCTRL pages work fine. Thanks
  12. Hi Miles, I left a DM on your discord, and a message in the help section. Maybe you are off for the holidays. Let me know how I can geta replacement HMI. thanks, Peter
  13. Same problem here, USB port broke off. My mistake, when I switched headsets I did not reuse (or get a new) cable holder. I posted a message on Discord but when checking last night I could not find my message there I left for Miles. I would like to order a new HMS. Peter
  14. I have programmed my Xbox controller but I can’t move my TADS. Reviewing Wags and Casmo’s videos I might not selecting the acquisition source correctly. I am traveling but will be home tomorrow. I was in the CPG seat and on the TEDAC it said p-hmd. This indicates it was not set to TADS right? There are so many new command/but5on layouts to learn!
  15. Thanks BigNewy,! I thought I saw it in one of the many Apache videos lower on the left view.
  16. When flying the Apache in VR the control indicator window is in upper left part of the screen. I have to tilt my head up every time to see it. Is it’s position in a config (Lua) file? thanks
  17. Would you mind sharing more details on your home made collective? thanks
  18. Yes that was it. Strange thing was that when I started the mission the first radio you use was not turned on and I could not hear Biff at all. Saw that right away and turned it on.
  19. that is probably my mistake. I can't test it tonight as it is my anniversary and we are going out for dinner. But tomorrow I will
