  1. That did the trick I had them in folders. Thanks!
  2. Hi I can't seem to get static templates to show up like the picture below. I have them loaded in the StaticTemplate folder in saved games but they don't show up in the load template menu. I am probably doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  3. I would like to have a real F/A-18 pilot answer this. It seems to me the the FCS should auto compensate for ordnance released. If it does IRL then its a bug that I hope gets addressed.
  4. I use a Thrustmaster also. See this thread its very helpful.
  5. Same here with the ATFLIR. Now there both messed up.
  6. Still messed up. How many patches does it take to "fix internally".
  7. "Its been fixed internally, so they say. They should have released it this past patch." Nope its still broken.
  8. Since the last update the litening pod doesn't save the mk points or even the waypoint designate. see trk lighting pod bug 6.trk
  9. As we used to say in the machine shop: "Cut it to size, beat it to fit, and Paint it to match" and vola, good as new!
  10. Thanks Flappie for the update on the location of the location of the NV_Cache.
  11. I used to be able to set up a mission to be able to spawn in AI aircraft using the F-10 menu. You set up the ai using the command in the drop down menu of "start" then using the AI task push, the drop down menu would give the name of the ac you had previously set up with the command to "start" and you could select it. But it doesn't work that way anymore. There is no command "start" anymore, and so there is no AI Task Push that shows the AI in the drop down menu to start. So something may have changed with the mission editor.
  12. I have a Nvidia card but no NVIDIA Corporation\NV_Cache" in C:\Users\your-name\AppData\Local\Temp\
  13. By the way this glitch never happens for me in dcs world stable version.
  14. Hope this gets fixed, it makes dcs unplayable for me.
  15. I have only experienced this while flying WWII aircraft. Never have seen it with jets.
  16. I have the same problem. I tried rolling back driver with no luck. installed latest driver for my Nvidia 2060 super still no luck. Attached track file. flikering.7z
  17. Thanks a bunch for the replies WRl11 I will do more experimenting
  18. Is flag 404 the only flag you can use to ID you ship? If I put in 2 super carriers for example, is there another flag to use for the ship ID of the second carrier? If I, for example, use flag 404 and the value is the ID of the first carrier say 4 (the unit ID) and the second unit is say ID of 57, would I use 404 and a value of 57? I did try that and it switched the template to the other carrier so it would seem that either you cant do two Super Carriers or there must be another flag to use for the second carrier?
  19. wrl11 Well I got it going! I am posting it just wanted you to look at it. I think I did what you suggested. Thank you! Super Carrier test_4.miz
  20. wrl11 Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure how to implement it all. Not to familiar with flags. I'm not sure how to set flag 404 to my ship ID. Is 404 a random number or is it something that is tied to ID ing a unit? Anyway thanks again I will try you suggestions as best I can. I will re post my next attempt hopefully you might see it and critique it.
  21. shipID problem Hi Redkite I am having trouble getting the templates to work. I have watched your video many times trying to spot my error (which is most often the case) but so far no luck. I type in shipID = 4 and add the templates as per your video but nothing happens. I have uploaded the mission for your inspection. Another question I have is can one use two supper carriers and load templates on both? (assuming the shipID works) Thank you for you work (and your patience) Super Carrier test_3.miz
  22. I would love to do some one on one with you.I am retired so am available most of the time. I am in Michigan USA. Eastern time zone. Be nice to join up with folks in that time zone or close to it. Thanks a bunch!
  23. Thanks Don I'm sure I probably am confusing terminology. I am not a high time f-18 guy. Have way more time in Spits. Thanks for you explanation. I needed something like that. Sometimes I misunderstand what Wags says in his videos.
  24. If you watch Waggs video I mentioned, you will see him find the target with the TP, set it to point track, and then, with the maverick uncaged and searching he says to press the TDC depress button, that in the video slews the seeker to the point he designated on the target. He hasn't fired the laser yet because he is not in range. That's my problem. I find the target, set it to point track with the TP and with the maverick uncaged I press the tdc depress button and it doesn't slew to the target as in his video. it just keeps going back and forth seeking. In my track you can see that I boxed the trigger function, but the problem is before I need to fire the laser. You can see in the left DDI by the "S" showing up is when I press the tdc depress button ( enter by default) that should, as in the Waggs video, slew the seeker to the designated target, this is before I fire the laser. It doesn't slew it just keeps going back and forth. It used to work that way for me but now it doesn't.
