I think we can, we just need the right people in the team. We need people on our facebook group, VF-303 "The Turkeys" . You may join the group, only if you will contribute to the development of the squadron.

I completely agree with you. Agressors would be a wide variety of planes, to polish/ improve pilot skills. Something I was also thinking, for the ACE pilot training programme, we shall have pilots do the assigned tasks and then via livestream, analyse our buddy's mistakes and that way all of us will learn.

We would separate the teams, aggressors vs defenders. We could also do sessions with very experienced squadrons, in the future, when we get the respect we shall deserve.

Poll to be posted soon. Sorry guys, I'll be sticking to the idea of an F14 specialised squadron only, for now. That only implies a select people of the community will fly the F14 with our squadron name, and the title ACE on. These select people will be chosen from a joint decision of the staff. Squadron names will be assigned after 1 month of serving the squadron. The names you might get will depend on you, and the active members. The other members will be free to fly whatever they wish, just without the ACE designation. Pere

Virtual air wing is a great idea, but differs from what I intended, a F14 squadron that is super professional, just like the real thing, but in DCS. There's plenty of air wings already, and our F14 Squad would have non pro members too, non representative of the squad. On a side note, VF303 "Turkeys" sounds pretty good to me.

I agree completely, it's basically about the pride of the squadron, I mean you could be VF4s or VF84 at any point in the game, but you won't care about the livery that much after a while, and you'll end up lonewolving, or flying on another virtual squadron. Just thought it'd be quite nice to have a specialised squad that everybody knows about in DCS

I was thinking more F14 specialised and pitch perfect. Yes members could get repainted aircraft and stuff.

I had this cool logo lying around for the tail. Of course the members of the group would jointly decide our names and stuff.

Since the F14 is going to be a super popular module, I wondered, how about starting a small select squadron of pilot's and rio's that would be well trained and flying together? No lonewolving or mixed flying, no, just pure F14 awesomeness. Maybe even have a small website with useful resources and a forum. Obviously, I need people to back me up and join me and my team, and if I don't get nobody interested, well, oh well. Anyway, here's the goodies for the livery (provisional for the idea, the squadron would obviously "paint" the planes as per their likings by feedbacking to the repainter): Kamov Pere

Why is everyone so pessimistic? They said late 2015 to early 2016. They're quite far in their work.

This comes with the external model. The moment you get exterior model updates you'll get the high poly goodies.
