  2. DCS World autoupdated for me today, and with knowledge of this issue and this thread, I hoped it might have been resolved after the update, however, after flying a singleplayer DCS P-51D mission with an AI wingman, still, the AI's wheel fairing doors wouldn't close. At least the AI's very combat effective when tasked to attack targets of opportunity. I know you all at ED will look into this and correct it; thanks for the support!
  3. Great thread! Thanks for asking the question I'm glad I finally found the answer here without duplicating someone else's question in a new thread, so BZ to ErichVon, and to those who've replied with the answers to my question. I too have had the standalone version of DCS Black Shark and DCS A-10C Warthog, but after learning about DCS World, I looked for answers to my questions about how to go about installing or getting my previously purchased license key to be recognized in DCS World. So, thanks again for this thread, however, I must wait for a couple of fellow online friends I've been flying with cooperatively to complete the process of getting DCS World installed and completing this process so we can be on the same version. Cheers! Sniper121
  4. @ED Dev/Forum Moderators/ or anyone who's bought the digital download of DCS:BS reply Hello, I just bought the digital download of DCS:BS. I will have a Merry Christmas now! I'm curious, based on just telling a friend that it's available for purchase, who said he'd rather get the boxed release in 2009 because he believed that those getting the digital download installation won't be able to reinstall it more than a few times, should they have a computer crash, or upgrade their computer and install DCS:BS on the new system. Is there any truth to what he told me or is it hearsay? Will those who purchase the digital download version of DCS: Black Shark be limited on the number of times they can reinstall it? Thanks for your comments in advance. Sniper121
  5. Please provide a URL link to the download page. Thanks. The E-Shop on digitalcombatsimulator.com doesn't have a link, and on 1C Online, I didn't find any joy their either.
  6. USAF AMMO Veteran I'm still on active duty for the past 22 years, working in the Ordnance or better known as AMMO. The Air Force Specialty Code title for 7-Levels is Munitions Systems Craftsman. I've worked with A-10s for the longest time in all of my career, starting at Myrtle Beach SC when the 354th Tactical Fighter Wing, comprised of the 353d Panthers Ftr Sqdn, 355th Falcons F.S., and the 356th Demons F.S. I've served at three other CONUS bases, and have also been in Europe at Hahn Air Base Germany from 86-88, and Kunsan AB, ROK from 94-95. I'll retire in March 07 with 23 years of service. I bought Lock On because of the A-10 only, but have experimented in flying all of the other aircraft, but not in online action. I want to do what AMMO Troops love to do, watch the AMMO make the mission and fulfill the AMMO CREED: "Providing the enemy the opportunity to die for his country." I'm waiting for Black Shark to be released, because I love flying attack choppers too. ~S~ Sniper121
  7. Black Shark ... A Rotorhead's Dream about to come true! First, a Salute to you all. I'm new to the forums as of today after finding out about LO:Black Shark on the Track IR website at naturalpoint.com. I just got my new Track IR 4 Pro today and saw a dream coming true for a helo sim on their site. For I'd been thinking it would be cool if they could get Jane's Combat Simulations' LONGBOW 2 to work with Track IR, even if it was just two axis movement. Then I saw the 1 minute Black Shark movie that Matt Wagner made with the pre-alpha version and was stunned when I saw the work of the ED Dev Team. Like any other Rotorhead sim lover, I was thinking I can't wait for March 2006 to get here, but it will be worth it. I agree with one of the wants for multiplayer action, hoping for something similar to the two seat multiplayer crew operation that LONGBOW 2 has in the sim, but if it's going to be single seat that will suit me just fine because the screenshots and Matt's movie of the Track IR 4 6DOF head tracking was amazing. And oh yeah, I'm definitely hoping for the eventual add-on or expansion of the AH-64D LONGBOW in Lock On. Cheers!
