HOTAS was maintained well ,even thou not used for the last 12months or so.. Was regreased recently with good grease paste, same goes for Rudder pedals. Hi. I need help... My 12cm extention seems to be "baked" with that plastic part of the joystic. I just can not unscrew it, and i dont want to use too much force just not to mess with the joystick itself... any ideas how i can loosen it up? WD40 is ofcourse not usable here...

uh ohh i would love to win that:) i sold my hotas long time ago... so my # 311

X55 is a great system...but it has its flaws... Throttle quadrant itself is great. Loads of switches, precision, additional axis... But when it comes to stick... Well... its not as good. Its made for people with large hands and there is no way to adjust hand rest. It has single stage trigger buttonts are positioned badly ergonomicswise... But when it comes to precission...well its far better than x52 :) Just my 2 cents on the topic :)

Your centering spring might got weaker. Alteast it was the case with my joystick. Deadzone can solve this issue. Or check yt for x52 spring mod

Either use obs which is completly free or mirillis actiin which is great and uses cuda or amd app for recording and its lossless in quality and uses near 0 cpu with amd/cuda or just a bit with cpu encoding.

Actually any modern cpu will be better than that :) I've switched from 965be running at 3.9 at very high temps to I5 4670k and than to 4790k and i will never go back to Amd. Even though i was a fanboi... :)

Hello. For twitch streaming i wouldnt recommend anything below 5mbit/s upload. And im talking about pretty stable upload. With 2mb/s u might be able to run ur stream 720p at very low bitrates and sound sampling and that will look crap for viewers. ping depends on the way u are conected to the network (fiberwire or copperwire) and distance to the server ure playing on/stream to.

I usually play on ACG WW2 server, its an airquake server... Still cant get my FPS up to decent lvl. Especialy when flying. My heaven benchmark runs ok. WIll run other benchmarks to determine if there is something wrong. Could some of U guys post me ur nvidia CP settings for DCS? Cheers in andvance. Edit: I just did few runs with Firestrike benchmark and heaven benchmark. All seem to be fine. There must be something messed up with my dcs... http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/6459423 My score. So yeah... DCS runs at 22-29% cpu usage GPU usage is normal. I still get not really fluent FPS even over sea...;/

Hi Guys. Thanks for answering me:) Yeah that mobo is old but it does run that cpu quite good. It doesnt throttle. When running aida64 (prime can do damage to haswell) it stays below 70degrees celsius on all cores(65 most of the time) Also i run latest bios otherwise that cpu wouldnt start :) My issue here is that both cpu and gpu arent used in full. About that Oc. Its better than turbo mode as it runs 4ghz on same voltage. I didnt even touch it:) and i bet o can hit4.7 4.8 with my h80i and a bitod tweaking:) I will test few more things this evening to rule out hardware issues Also i will try to run dcs with different setting. Maybe it will help. Cheers guys. T.

Hi guys. I recently upgraded from i5 5670k and a r9 280x to a i7 4790k and msi gtx 970 4g. But i see no significant fps jump... One thing is that i get 45-52 fps on the ground while in air i get the same. I turned everything off or app controled in Nvidia control panel. THe wierd thing is that i never jump above 20% cpu usage and 40% gpu usage while not streaming... when streaming my OBS takes around another 25% cpu usage rest stays the same. I use MSI afterburner for monitoring. Average FPS while in game (fairly populated server ACG WW2 one) i get around 50 fps in air which is even worse than on previous setup Full specs i7 4790k @ 4.5 1.285v MSI Gtx 970 G4 @ stock Asrock z87 pro4 16gb Partiot viper 3 CL11 2133mhz (4x4 gb) PC runs in performance mode same for gpu No CPU throttling ever recorded Any ideas guys?
