ATP 3-3.4.2 says for the rendezvous, 25 degrees AOB is used. However, once in the orbit, we'll use less bank and start the turns earlier to ease the workload on the receiver. Small areas may force a tight anchor orbit and we'll keep the higher AOB. But what it sounds like is happening is the onset of the turns is too rapid and need to be tuned. Instantly snapping into a hard 25 degree turn isn't realistic.- 5篇回复

Sorry, "only" was in reference to the BDU-33s. The only bomb type is could carry.

I believe they're building just the trainer version, which did not drop bombs. The AT-38 was slightly different and had provisions to drop BDU-33 training bombs only.

Playing with the MH-47E mod from JinxxDCS, combined with an USAF HH-47 skin from Tomcatter87. And then created a pseudo RAF HC.5 Chinook. I couldn't crack the edm to remove the probe and radar though.

I'd love to see them go to this. The jets all left Luke, with IN tail codes. Hopefully they use your idea.

I tried the Chinook after the latest update. I noticed on S/P Syria, I've got smoother and flyable FPS in VR. Not stellar, but better. In Afghanistan, it's terrible. So this tells me that the map is also a major problem. Hopefully more work can be done, as FPS across several airframes have been negatively affected from the 24 Dec 2024 update.

With the new changes from this week's update, how are we to use the trim now? Hat positions only? I see a new bind for the probes, but unsure if they're working and if so, how they are used. I recall they are automatic, but figure it's worth an ask. Thanks

VR FPS has been reported as extremely poor in the Chinook, already. We've been assured they're looking at optimizations, but unfortunately nothing has been passed to us to allow it to be played.

How about updated skins from current users? VFC-13 flies F-16s now and their jets went to VMFT-401 and VFC-204. TacAir bought Jordan's Tigers, along with Saudi. Switzerland is no longer flying the F-5N and sold then to the US to fill VMFT-401/402, VFC-111 and VFC-204 stocks.

You can mod the LUA to carry the AR probe and the additional 2, Sidewinders. However the jet can't fire the second pair, because the hard point doesn't recognize the weapon. That's locked away by ED.
