interesting how they segregate supercarrier owners from non... Non-owners = no spawn on deck and no landing wire contact... You wont be able to stop if you dont own it... Clever!!

The commands are a set of phrases that call on other phrases that use keystrokes. I hope that made sense. For example: Gear up —> Landing gear up —> Ctrl+G.

Bailey I actually got my Voice attack working and I use Vaicom pro. Ive linked in your command set. My question is ... is your command set a list of phrases or are there key strokes attached to them. When I look at a command I dont see the key strokes

Make sure the Voice Attack Profile is set to Vaicom Pro for DCS World. Otherwise you cant pull up the Vaicom console

ok now Im getting it. Vaicom is basically an app that runs inside of Voice attack. If you use that directory that ob check box connects it to the beta........DoHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

You’re using the beta DCS with either an old version of vaicom or forgetting to push the open beta button in the options. The location of the sounds changed in the latest open beta and so you need to make some changes to vaicom
Rick in the Viacom config should I use the custom dcs path, if so what should it be aiming at?

What are the exact issues you are seeing and are you standalone or Steam?
Have you set the custom path and checked OB in the Vaicom config screens?

Voice Attack starts fine. The game wont start up if I start Voice Attack first. It looks like Voice attack is trying to write over or mod sound files in DCS which are locked. I have to run a repair on DCS to get it back.

ok further info. Voice attack is creating a folder called Sounds in the DCS game directory. There is also a Sounds folder in my Saved Games directory. Is that where its supposed to be saving to. If so how do I aim voice Attack to Saved Games.
Its also writing to Scripts/UI

would have loved to try this but since 2.5.6 Voice attack with viacom pro doesnt work for me. Game wont start due to incompatible sound files when you start Voice Attack.

I still cant get viacom pro to work with 2.5.6.... Its over writing sound files in DCS that are not compatible. Are there new instructions avail on how to get this to work?

has anyone figured out what the DCS inits have for exports. If you modify them to add "F18" to the Init files it wont pass integrity check on MP servers.

really good video Suns. What happens on the heavy harriers if you speed up the Tarawa to 20 knots.
A couple of other notes.
If you ramp start helos in uncontrolled they will set themselves in the numbered landing pads in sequence, regardless if you have statics in the way. You can pick up to 4 parking spots however.
Also if you have statics on the deck, when the AI harriers land they will taxi around them looking for an open spot. Very cool.
Harriers dont have a choice of parking spots as uncontrolled.

Time to get to work on this mod again. The Tarawa has working carrier Ops and your mod is close. There is a current collision issue with it where jets bounce off the deck and go sky high but once in a while they land correctly and taxi to a spot. Your back in Action!!!!! :-)

did a test of same mission two different versions of DCS. Recorded aircraft taking off and aircraft attacking target. Same aircraft. Same mission. Something is wrong. In that attack mission the aircraft never attack and are constantly trying to adjust its flight path. Is there a change in the altimeter logic between baro and radar for AI?

This will be an interesting aircraft. Looks like its main use was ground attack with two different radars, one for navigation, one for terrain following. Limited air to air capability. We are really going to need a 'Nam map.

Dont think this is working in 2.5.6. Helos in mission wont land. The move to waypoint and then go on to next one.

Has anyone noticed this error when saving missiions. This comes up every so often and when it does it literally wipes out your mission. Even if you try to do a save as it changes all the names of your units to a Dict0... There is no recovery other than making sure you save your mission after every update.

every time Viacom pro kicks off is writes the sound folder into the dcs root even with files copied into saved games. How do you prevent this.
