  1. So far we've had a good response. Approx 20 new members have joined but it would be great for us and everyone else if more people joined! We'll be able to build a great community that way. https://www.facebook.com/groups/193255800800445
  2. They are pages. Not groups. With pages, you really can only like the page and write onto the page, where you post gets shimmied to the side in a recent posts box, limited view and thus no community aspect and not really a place to get a quick game together. With this group everyone and talk about DCS, share pictures, organised a game or two, find out about things and ask questions, in a way which will get a quicker reply that on these forums. :smartass: There us currently only 1 other group, which is a German speaking DCS group. I like to think we have a friendly community. https://www.facebook.com/groups/193255800800445
  3. Hi Guys, We've had a small UK Speaking DCS group on Facebook which some of my friends and I have been using to talk about DCS and organize events. Please feel free to join. We really would like to get enough members to organised regular Co-op missions and casual dogfight sessions. https://www.facebook.com/groups/193255800800445/ Hope to see a few members join. We'll try and organize something big in the near future!
  4. All I can say is its a good thing that this isn't my first time doing the training missions otherwise I would be very angry. I'm trying to go over the training missions again as I havn't flown the A10 is several months. The only problem is, I've started right from the beginning and I'm up to the weapons Rockets and Guns training mission and so far the ONLY mission that I have been able to fully complete is the HOTAS Fundamentals. Every other mission has stoped at some point or another. Always when the instructor disengages the AP so I can do a turn. Almost every time he doesn't come back when I'm flying dead centre towards the next flight waypoint. I've even tried this http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/250461/ to get it to work but it doesn't seem to fix it. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me. Also any suggestions or solutions would be helpful. 1.2.2.7570 is my World Version.
  5. It doesn't just have the potential to be a ground unit simulator. It could be an entire war simulator. Just add ship controls and spy satellites and ICBM's and add arma 2 like stuff.
  6. Platform shaking isn't the issue. Its the fact that one very important thing isn't modeled. I'm pretty sure that Tanks in real life have Auto Turret and Gun Stabilization. The turret should stay in the same place when going up and down hills. It should not move unless the tank commander inputs a control. Also Quite a lot of the modern tanks have ballistics computers so that would be good if it was modeled too.
  7. Well I've played around with the Axis Curves and I'm better but do you think i'd get better results using a HOTAS? Surly it would;d be easier because they tend to have higher sensitivities and more range of movement. Most of my problem is the throttle. 1kt of closure is still just too much and my altitude wavers too much even with minuscule pitch changes.
  8. Someone needs to increase the responsiveness(or logic) of the Boom operator. I'm still quite new to A2A refuelling but still whenever I do it and actually get close enough to connect the Boom operator is extremely slow to respond. I mean, I'm in a place where the operator could easily just move the boom and connect but it doesn't It just lingers around in-front of me. and then there are other times where it tries to connect but then I go just a bit too far forward and the boom does right through the plane and then I have to pull back, to which I'm out of position and then the boom again doesn't respond. Is there a fix or something because its just ridiculous. Also I'm pretty sure that there should be coloured lights on the bottom of the tankers so you know how much further you need to be to be in the perfect position for refuelling. On the KC-135 its just a line of white lights.
  9. Yes it Will. Neglecting to acknowledge the customers requests is just bad business especially when its something that quite a few people want. You may not want it, but I certainly do.
  10. Actually It seems they won't do anything beyond 21km. They won't aim or nothing. Which is stupid becuase they have a range of 34km
  11. How long should it take for them to fire? They are now aiming but not firing?
