  1. The F/A-18 has a full and comprehensive manual. The Harrier does not have a full manual period.
  2. Well as @Gierasimov said pretty much each to their own. I for one have found the Razbam experience of the past not to be to my liking. The breaking point for me was my purchase of the AV-8b Harrier in early access which was released into EA all the way back at the end of November 2017. At this time, it still does not have a user manual. And because of that I decided I will not buy a single further Razbam product until they provide a manual for the AV-8b Harrier and if that happens then I will purchase Razbam products only when they come out of early access. However with some other devs I have more faith to purchase early access. On a side note the last official Razbam comment I ever saw regarding a Razbam manual for the Harrier was this comment from Nov 2022 below after explaining that the Mudhen would be the focus for a full manual first before the Harrier.
  3. It's probably been given up on as a nice shiny new plane is on the horizon. It's utterly shameful of Razbam to still not have a complete and full manual for this module and it's also quite poor of ED to allow them to get away with it. The module has been out for how long now? And it's also been out of early access for some time and yet still not a complete manual. I'm shocked by how many buyers are so easily satisfied by the incomplete product. null
  4. Be patient if you can and wait as AMD's RDNA3 7000 GPU's are only a matter of weeks away. Also Nvidia should be releasing the 4080 cards soon which will definately be a beter value than the overpriced, fat and oversized 4090 boombox of a graphics card.
  5. Wow I am surprised no one waited for AMD with RNDA3 GPU's coming out in the next month. 4090 seems a great card for 4k high refresh gaming though for the price of an entire new gaming rig (minimum price here in Australia selling for is over 3k and up t 5k for watercooled ones). Given I game at 1440p this card is just ridiculous over the top overpriced not to mention oversized and overweight. But it is super fast and isn't the ridiculous power hog that it had been wrongly speculated. Each to their own but for me it's a big pass. Waiting for Nvidia 4080 (proper variant, not the 4070 in disguise) and AMD's RDNA3 GPU's before I consider pulling the pin.
  6. We can only hope. Happy for expanded depth to the flight models aerodynamics with regards to payloads and so on but it would be nice if this is part of a greater overhaul including any little bug niggles.
  7. That Air Combat Sim podcast was 15 months ago and a lot of water has gone under the Razbam bridge since then. Razbam seem to be working on everything but the kitchen sink so perhaps expectations should be recalibrated downwards somewhat about what modules will be available in early access anytime soon.
  8. Cover of It’s the final countdown by Europe. Seriously channeling the 80’s in ED’s release trailer video. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The above sums up my view on what should be done.
  10. 3090 is a Titan card but if you look at its price compared to previous Titans it is actually pretty decently priced. Also I would not be surprised in the slightest if Nvidia release a 3080Ti or something down the track with more VRAM as you suggested. That is standard Nvidia SOP.
  11. I feel sorry for 2080Ti owners right now, sort of. The 30 series is the biggest jump we have seen in performance since Pascal. While in the past I have always gone for the best bang for buck which has been the x70 series of cards like my 1070 this time around I think I will go for Nvidia's most powerful non Titan card being the 3080 which I expect will be a huge jump over the 2080Ti and certainly a far greater jump than the rather pedestrian performance increase we saw from the 1080Ti to the 2080Ti while also incurring a ridiculous price hike. So glad I gave Nvidia's Turing architecture a miss.
  12. That's what I have done and will continue to do so until the Harrier finally comes out of early access with a full manual and the aircraft being feature complete and in the main bug free. That meant no purchase of the Mig-19 and will mean no purchase of the Falklands Map or the Mig-23, or the F-15E, or the Pucara, or the Lightening and all these other modules in the elongated pipeline of Razbam. I wish them every success in bringing to fruition these over the horizon modules but I will not own a increasingly burgeoning stable of incomplete modules.

    ee lightning?

3d models look great. But can I please have a completed Harrier?
  14. Thanks for the heads up. Not to worry. Really looking forward to the next batch of Hornet [emoji219] updates to come with the next patch and hopefully the Super Carrier will also make an arrival soon. Fingers crossed that ED team manage to work through the showstopper issues with the Super Carrier and the performance issues within the latest Beta release. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
