    Yeah I feel the same, I have it now set to metric, the US jets are still in feet as far as I know but not sure about the other FC3s. Should be connected to native settings in the gameplay tab.

     

    Also my english Cockpit now shows NM instead of KM but the rest is Meters and KMH....come on ED

    bei den German Rotorheads gibt es jetzt eine neue Jet-Sparte für alle, die Lust auf gemeinsames PvP-Fliegen haben! Kein Mil-Sim, sondern eine entspannte Umgebung, in der wir uns einspielen, trainieren und besser werden.

    🔹 Was macht uns aus?
    Unsere Community besteht aus erfahrenen Heli- und Jet-Piloten, die ihr Wissen gerne teilen. Der Heli-Bereich wird von einem echten Helikopterpiloten und der Jet-Bereich von einem echten Jetpiloten geführt. Wir legen Wert auf gute Zusammenarbeit und taktisches Fliegen, um als Team noch besser zu werden.

    🔹 Was wir fliegen?

    • Schwerpunkt auf Cold War Jets, aber auch moderne Szenarien sind möglich
    • Redfor & Bluefor – wir fliegen beides, je nach Bedarf und Mission
    • Helis sind natürlich weiterhin willkommen – es besteht kein Zwang, nur Jets zu fliegen

    🔹 Was wir suchen?

    • Keine blutigen Anfänger, aber auch keine Verpflichtung, ein Vollprofi zu sein
    • Grundkenntnisse über die eigene Maschine & Luftkampf-Grundlagen sollten vorhanden sein
    • Spaß am PvP und Lust, sich mit einer festen Truppe einzuspielen

    🔹 Wie läuft das ab?

    • Es gibt noch keine festen Zeiten – wer jetzt beitritt, kann aktiv mitgestalten
    • Ziel ist es, eine eingespielte Gruppe aufzubauen, die regelmäßig zusammen fliegt

    New Jet Division at German Rotorheads – PvP Cold War & Modern

    Hello everyone,

    The German Rotorheads now have a new jet division for all those who are interested in flying PvP together! No mil-sim, just a relaxed environment where we can practice, train, and improve.

    🔹 What makes us special?
    Our community consists of experienced helicopter and jet pilots who are happy to share their knowledge. The helicopter division is led by a real helicopter pilot, and the jet division by a real jet pilot. We focus on teamwork and tactical flying to become even better as a unit.

    🔹 What do we fly?

    • Focus on Cold War jets, but modern scenarios are also possible
    • Redfor & Bluefor – we fly both, depending on the mission
    • Helicopters are, of course, still welcome – no obligation to fly jets only

    🔹 What are we looking for?

    • No absolute beginners, but you don’t need to be a pro either
    • Basic knowledge of your aircraft & air combat fundamentals should be present
    • Enjoyment of PvP and the desire to train with a dedicated team

    🔹 How does it work?

    • No fixed schedule yet – early members can actively help shape the group
    • The goal is to build a well-coordinated team that flies together regularly

    You´re missing the point. Its not that people dont want a F35, its all that it stands for is what gets people upset. And not buying it, doesnt change a bit where DCS is going since this will be a major step in one direction. I love the F35 and I think they will do a good job, just for the love of god nobody preorder 😄

    F35 potentially attracts a much larger audience, new customers and in the end, makes them more money. But still, I wish that this new level we have reached, brings us more Redfor and also more plane in general.

    MP Slot selection

    Hello everyone,

    I see good improvements on the MP Selection, but right now is a, imho, horrible mix of both worlds.

    Could ED not make it like in every other Sim, that you click on the Airfield itself and then see what Airplanes are available there?

     

    Right now its super confusing, the List is in the way of selecting some Airfields or farps, and tbh, first using the Filter to then select the point on the map is just 2 steps too much.

     

    I do like that you have to select your faction first!

    But then->Airfield Icon->click>select your Aircraft->Spawn

    PS: The Airplanes should have 2D icons once you click on the Airfield, to easily identify each type and not go the list route again.
