The -16 in a great bird. Are there a lot of things that still need completed? yes of course. But the fact is it's nimble as all get out, has a limited A-G capability, and right now, at least you can read the displays....

Getting back into the DCS world after close to a year break. Errands were done, mur..fights were had, lamentations sung, and a Rift S has been added to the inventory. I fly primarily Hornets and falcons, though i've been known to dabble with the 10c and ka-50. Looking for a crew that's US based, not to heavy into "Milsim". I spent 8 years in the military, milsim is most decidedly not my thing. For tactics and radio traffic ok, if you think i'm calling anybody sir...well...move on. I am a founding member of MilitaryGamers.com, but we don't have a presence in DCS, nor are we interested in building one. Thus why I'm looking for a crew to fly with. I would like to roll with a crew that is moderately laid back, willing to train on the finer points (Carrier ops, AAR), and isn't too restrictrive when it comes to air-frame's. I thoroughly enjoy both the falcon and the hornet, on my own i will be brushing up on the ka-50, and when the F-15E drops i will be purchasing it. The thinking being that if a crew is running short on say, air to air I can hop into a -16, if ground attack is needed i can utilize the hornet or falcon, or if scouting is needed I can hop into a ka-50. Hey folks. Im trying to get the hang of this hornet and I've run into an issue during cold starts that is driving me bananas. After ground or CV alignment is done on the INS, I go to box waypoint, seq1, and auto to set up my nav systems for flight. Only Auto wont box. Any ideas? I have let the alignment run for anywhere from 3 to 4 minutes, .5 ok is presented on the display, and nothin. HALP! :joystick::joystick::joystick:

Hey guys I have done a lot of moving around in the past year or so and I am just now getting around to unpacking my TM warty, pedals, and TrackIR. My question is this. With this latest iteration of DCS World (1.5) and any subsequent releases of patches to modules to Blackshark II, Huey, or Sabre Jet, Were any of the base controls altered in any way? The reason I ask is that during the move I also had to do a couple of things to my system like wipe my game HD and also install a new SSD where this latest version of DCS will go. Thankfully I did not lose any of my Warthog profiles though...I don't think. Thanks in advance :pilotfly:

well, I am running win7 64 and have ts open all the time because of my status inside my community and i havent run into any issues to date. what did you do to troubleshoot this issue outside of whats listed? have you tried admin mode for both programs?

Just an update from my end. I wanted to thank eveyrbody who responded to this thread, I learned way more than i thought was possible from any forum and as a result have been able to lay waste to jokers using all manner of cbu. particularly helpfull were the posts about programming wind into the latse and adjusting the dispersal altitidue. :thumbup::pilotfly:

hehe survived a head to head pass against a mig-29. missing 1 left elevator 2 rudders, 1ea 3 wheels 4 nav system inop, navigated via tcn 5 ils inop 6 tgp inop 7 gun inop 8 left mfcd inop 9 altitude indicators inop (yes both of them) 10 spped indications inop (yes both of them) 11 major fuel leak from lh wing 12 threat detection and avoidance system inop and a partrage in a pear tree WHY FOAR NOFTING WORKIE ON MEH BIRDIE?!?!?!? :joystick: :helpsmilie:

Anybody got any tips and tricks on cluster munitions? I am getting damage to vehicles but not kills. I normally drop them in ccrp. Any guidance here would be nice:joystick:

admin mode has largely fixed the issue. i can now play the game regularly. where can i find all those logs eno?

admin mode MAY have fixed the issue. i will try a few flights today to verify

i found a peculiar issue where when ever i click on an segment of the lh side of the a10c cockpit from the left mfcd and continuing to move left (anywhere left of said mfcd) the game alt tabs out and then crashes whenever i try to get back into game. I am running trackir5, win7 64bit, saitek x52 pro. amd fx-6100 cpu with an amd 6800 series card.
