  1. Hi all, I have been noticing in DCS when setting up the roll/pitch axis with my CH Fighterstick there is a jiggle in the values. So I go to calibrate and click on the Show Raw Data and see the numbers 0 to 255. I notice a jiggle there. But then also notice if I go up/down/left/right and return to center. When I move left and go back to center the value is 110. When I go right back to center 120 Then front/back 117 and 128. Even with small inputs it does this. Is this normal? Is the jiggle normal? It seems to go between 1 value so probably not too bad. If not would you recommend new pots?
  2. So I fixed it. I did a Steam Repair which I probably should have done before. We ran it and it seems good now. Thanks Reflected for the responses. Really enjoying the campaign so far. Very immersive, no long "commutes" in the Huey, and the length is perfect!
  3. Fixed. Did a Steam repair on it and is now working
  4. Thanks for the response. I submitted crash report in that area. I also used mission editor to change start point for Mission 1. Started south of the quarry and was fine. Once I started flying north and got around that area it crashes. Tried mission 2 and tested in mission editor, changed starting point around the quarry and was working without any error. Who knows?
  5. I am playing Paradise Lost campaign, Mission 1, and DCS is always crashing at the same spot. About 10 minutes in flying over a certain area. Don't have any mods. 32 GB ram. PageFile is 32GB. Updated video driver to the latest recently. Was happening before and tried updating it from some other forum post I saw. Reinstalled Marianas, reinstalled Paradise Lost. Attached is the dump. dcs.log-20220303-083552.zip
  6. This is the 3rd time it's crashed(DCS) at almost the exact same spot. Landed and company HQ and going to FB Berlin. It's shortly after door gunners open fire. Once I may have gotten to the quarry and copilot talks about that, but last time I wasn't able to. Saw a youtube video and shortly after copilot says "We are getting close to FB Berlin and to contact" but I have never reached that point as DCS crashes. Have changed my pagefile to 32GB(saw this somewhere), also have 32GB RAM. I have no mods. Sent crash to DCS, not sure if should attach here. Any ideas what it could be or to try? Weird it's happening at the same spot. Haven't had any other DCS crashes ever.
  7. Is everyone seeing the same track as I am?? In the track listed above I see two "wins" but they are both for the Mig-29. First is Uzi1-1(the f-5 player) breaking the hard deck. The 2nd is Uzi1-1 getting shot up by the Mig-29. The video ends shortly after. I did see the "snapshot" attempt by the player but I don't think it was very close. Hell I have a lot of those in my attempts as well with same results. Almost 30 seconds after this the Mig is on the player's six and shooting him up. I think the video proves the original user's point that maybe they should be an "easy" level campaign. I know I would get more out if then. I would still like to see a (fairly recent) track with someone getting a win against the AI. From reading the forums, it seems at some time the AI changed. Does anyone know when that was exactly? The posted video from MrPilot is from 2017. I started to doubt by abilities and fired up Il-2 and did some dogfights against an Ace level opponent. While challenging it was eventually possible to get a kill. With DCS on Ace, it's pretty much impossible. With the time limit of the campaign even more so.
  8. Any update on making an "Easy" or Average level AI campaign. I have been watching videos, MrPilot and others and trying to follow their technique. None of it seems to work. Not even close. Am not sure if something changed since then. Other "practice" I tried is putting an F5 under AI as "Good" as red. Then I fly as wingman to an "Excellent" F5 blue plane. Just trying to stay off my lead's wing. "Trying" is the operative word here. I can usually stay with him for about 5 seconds, and then he zooms off. I try to cut corners and such to catch back up but it's all for naught. One time I ended up stalled out, a kilometer or more behind while he was finishing the other F5 off in a vertical climb a few thousand feet above me. For me would be much more enjoyable on an easier level until the AI gets fixed.
