  1. The unit waypoints are deleted when you jump into a vehicle. The user would have to jump in first, engage the 'autopilot' mode, and then assign waypoints.
  2. I just can't touch Combined Arms in its current state. It's such a shame - it could be a great module but keeps falling short and being hamstrung with such game-breaking bugs.
  3. This doesn't look good at all and is not representative of thermal imaging. Also - why is there such a difference in the tanks GPS versus the binocular sight?
  4. Broke since 2020. This module is forgotten.
  5. It would be nice to even have partial functionality for tanks. Currently, the thermal imagers just don't work, so basically driving modern tanks (with incredible thermal imaging packages!) around like WW2 tanks that only have day sights.
  6. @NineLine Is there any update here? Vehicle thermal imagers still look terrible. Switching to Binos gets a much better thermal image than a tank gun site.
  7. This is not very dynamic at all I guess we just keep waiting. Waiting is the only thing consistent with DCS Combined Arms.
  8. Had to see for myself. This is a nice improvement and a step in the right direction. Edit - this is still super janky and not very good. I'm finding problems with consistent embarking. What's different? You can now embark/disembark infantry without a series of waypoints in the ME . You can embark/disembark dynamically as you want. (as long as the infantry is set to embark task in the ME first! this is still required) Previously You could embark/disembark dismounts into a vehicle but it required a START and END waypoint for the infantry, and generally infantry would only dismount and move to their second waypoint, which made any sort of actual mission impossible. Problem @NineLine 1. The infantry will still only mount-up at their original point and nowhere else. You still still see the menu option to mount them but they seem to be stuck to their original mount radius as defined in the ME. Say - you mount the infantry, drive 500m dismount (all works very well). Then ask them to mount back up, they will stand there and look at you. 2. They will only mount on a SINGLE vehicle and nothing else. I tried mounting a fireteam in a M2 Bradley and they did it just fine, but when I tried another vehicle then I didn't see any option to mount that squad. It was as if the infantry are 'tied' or 'stuck' to a vehicle for the duration of the game.
  9. I'm aware of the adjustment settings but it looks like crap and nothing like a thermal imaging system. This shouldn't be the case. I wish we could just get this fixed.....after 12 years.

  11. No issues with Antivirus I'm seeing this download as a 350gig download, and I DO have that space available. Not sure what the issue could be. I cleared my Steam Cache. Restart cleaned my temp files as well. Performing a full re-install now.
  12. Steam version. (This is not a debate about switching from Steam to Stand Alone, please) With 2.8.7.42583 Open Beta I'm getting a weird non-stop cycle where Steam downloads the patch, and then validates, installs, but then goes back into validation.
  13. Title. For some reason the Merkava tank has no night vision capability in game.
  14. I posted this in the Combined Arms forums but no one reads those any longer. Thermals are currently worthless in game. null And I'm not sure what happened to binocular thermals either... null
