It looks like the upgrade period has completely been revoked without much of a heads-up. (Link to original upgrade details) This definitely leaves a bad taste for sure when I had a few other modules in my cart yesterday to check out this morning. At least leave the upgrade option for the prior buyers during the Lunar Sale. Edit: To add salt to the wound, the DCS Store has a promo price that is double the price of previous Steam upgrade, though not compatible on Steam.

Hey @Zoolander64, are the workshops going to be repeated or is there a place to view the past events? I'm late to the party and afraid I may be in over my head if there have already been six workshops so far. Also, how long do these workshops run for?

Hi all, I've been using the Thrustmaster T1600 Joystick for the better part of a year now. Overall I'm really happy with it since it's right in my budget and I would absolutely love to get a HOTAS Warthog stick but that's not going to happen in the near future. Recently I noticed someone talking about using a keyboard, mouse, joystick, AND an Xbox 360 controller so it got me thinking. I'm curious to know who else is using a controller and what key mappings they have and/or if they have a joystick as well. I'm looking to take advantage of a few controllers laying around (as well as my wireless receiver I could use) combined with my joystick, but not sure where to start. Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated too on my layout for my joystick and what fellow pilots use. I'm interested first on the A-10C but once I get that down pat with a new layout I might be looking to explore the Su-25T a bit more (still only touched the surface w/ that module).

Yea, that's exactly what I'm thinking. I did see your earlier comments too, I just have never seen a game with more DLC than this one (just an observation, not a pro/con). I was also checking out the steam workshop for this game and it looks like it's pretty populated with good content like you mentioned. I just know most deals are the same around Christmas time on steam if not better in some cases, so I'll probably just wait it out until then. :thumbup:

Don't forget for those not upgrading that DirectX 11.1 will not be offered on Win7, I think it's a stupid strategy but it's not that big a deal if you're aware before the promo pricing expires on 1/31/13

looks like a very peaceful yet stressful (much less stressful than getting an error in the a-10c) simulator and one that idk why I just want to try very badly lol. Trains are cool and all but the amount of DLC is just crazy. Maybe i'll pickup a dlc package around the holidays. If anyone feels like getting addicted to this absolutely hilarious series of the zombie mod checkout this first of five videos below.
