  1. It was corrected some while ago, because in real life life you can only use station 6 or stations 5 and 7, not all at once.
  2. Thanks for posting the video! Wow, at first I thought you were flying backwards, because the water flows so fast
  3. Unfortunately I have no solution, but I totally agree with you that it should be higher or customizable as in the KA-50. The HMCS crosshair should not be centered to the monitor, because that is not the pilot's eye level in the normal cockpit view/position when looking straight forward. The pilot looks at the HUD's top, not at the instruments. No matter what the camera perspective in the simulation is, we as players look at the upper third of the monitor, not the middle. It think it would feel most natural when the HMCS crosshair was in the middle of the HUD when TrackIR is centered and you are in the default position. I tried to visualize the straight line of sight (green) and what position the pilot would have where the crosshair is now (red): Or this way - line of sight (green) and line of HMCS (red) - both lines should more or less match I think:
  4. I had this with instant action -> take off on Caucasus, but it didn't happen again when I restarted the mission multiple times. Didn't do any further testing, but definitely not the intended behavior I think. Perhaps something broke as they changed the switch logic of the CMSP panel with the recent patch.
  5. With the recent open beta patch the CMSP panel switches now work consistent with other 3 position switches I can't tell you how happy I am about that. After 13 years of flying the DCS A-10C I can finally enjoy complete switch consistency. Awesome feeling
  6. I mainly use the Aircraft View (F2) and the Free Cam (LCtrl+F11) as well as the new cinematic camera (RCtrl+F2). I want to use an inverted Y-axis for all my cams. The problem is that the Y-axis for Aircraft view works opposite to the other two cams by default. So I can use the Aircraft view with an inverted axis and the other cams won'be inverted or vice versa depending on the axis tune setting for my Y-axis in the control menu. Is this a bug? How can get all cams to work with an inverted Y-axis? EDIT: Same with Z-axis (zoom).
  7. Why do you have the impression that the old method was easier? With the new method you still know exactly when you can drop the bomb - only difference is that you have a larger time frame to do so now.
  8. Yes, it has changed with the A-10C II and is even better now with a dynamic launch zone. Just have a look at Chuck's excellent A-10C WARTHOG GUIDE which describes the old as well as the new system, pages 288 - 310.
  9. Yes, that would perfectly be acceptable. You could finish the mission before updating. Even if it was only possible to quicksave and quickload during a running mission I would call it a huge quality of life improvemet. Nothing is more frustrating than making a deadly mistake after an hour of flight time and having to start the mission all over again. Great that ED is working on it. Thanks!
  10. You can use the 3Dmigoto mod to fix that. It has an option to adjust convergence and size for the NVGs. I hope ED will include these options to the core game as the NVGs are simply broken in VR since forever. But the mod is really great and offers a lot more. Give it a try.
  11. Sounds completely normal to me. Perhaps you have seen older videos? I think they changed the engine sounds a little over time.
  12. NineLine confirmed on discord that DLSS works with VR and alleviates GPU load.
  13. Same for me: CPU bound in VR with HP Reverb G2. GPU bound in 2D. Updated drivers, no mods, full repair. System: ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-E Gaming WIFI Intel Core i9-10900k 32 GB RAM Trident Z Neo ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 3090 OC WD BLACK NMEe 2.0 TB Windows 10 Pro
  14. I did some testing, tried a full repair, installed the latest nVidia drivers, ... Still the same for me. VR performance keeps as bad as it got after the dynamic weather update. Perhaps the graphs are wrong and it is not really CPU bound? Why should it, especially in a free flight situation with no units. If you decrease the render resolution you will see a performance increase, too. So the GPU seems to be the limiting factor. I will stay on pancake and try again with DLSS and Vulkan. For 2D I could see a performance boost which is great.
  15. Oh, I have no idea how the radio is supposed to work. I just find it very convenient now, so assumed it was a fix.
  16. And they fixed the old UHF-radio, too. If you are in preset mode it now shows the frequency for the selected channel.
  17. Hoping for an ARC-210 video prior to release.
  18. Sad to hear that, but thank you very, very much for all your effort. I switched back to pancake and I will stay there for the moment as the VR performance got too bad anyways. It is ok for me as DCS really looks awesome in 4k with maxed details and it is more comfortable, too.
  19. Thank you very much, Snoopy FYI: You need to be registered/logged-in on the v303rd Fighter Group's website to download that file - no problem with that, just don't know if it was intended. Wow, that would be a real disappointment.
