Hi John, Just wondered what happened to this project in the end? Were any prototypes or kits produced? I’m not in the US but I’d like to print the parts and build my own. Unfortunately the parts list doesn’t include any info on the spring, aluminium tube or the bearings, which I’d have to source locally. Any further info (or the possibility of a hardware kit) would be really useful. Many thanks.

Selling my very little used Cubesim MFDs + TM Bezels. See images attached. In mint condition, hardly used. Includes all PSUs and cables (not shown). Two of the PSU cables were cut to allow mounting to my desk, but they have been reinstated properly with heatshrink etc and tested. Will throw in some 3D printed dust covers in red that I made and a wedge that allows the 3rd screen to be mounted to a Mostertech style table mount. 550 GBP + shipping. .

That's sad to hear. Hopefully WinWing will come to their senses - they would be mad not to. They are on to a good thing here and need the help of clever folk, like yoursef, who are willing to help them. Shame, I thought they were better than that. Thanks again for sharing your findings.

pretty much as per this guide with a few tweaks: -

Scratch that, the new driver defaulted all of my NVIDIA Control Panel settings. -

Anyone getting bad performance with this driver? My FPS halved... -
Did you ever find out why this happened ? I’m getting the same in the F-16 in Syria using Liberation 5.2.

Bought just before lockdown, very little use. Owned from new. Perfect condition. Includes three different Cam profiles for different movement and centre detents. A stiffer spring is also included along with a USB cable. Smoke/pet-free home. Location: UK. £250 + shipping

Decided to sell my modified Cougar with ViperGear Force Sensor mod on the stick and Hall effect mod on the throttle. No more spiking axis!! Full working condition and cosmetically good for its age. I think I have the original box too somewhere which will be included if I can find it. £350 GBP + shipping.

Reluctantly selling my Tek Creations F/A-18 Startup Panel. Custom made for me, with everything you need to start up from cold and dark plus other essential switches. Fully working APU light. Dimmable green backlighting. Uses DCSBIOS as the interface. Top quality craftsmanship. Only used it once or twice and I don’t fly much now, so better someone else has some use out of it. Based in UK but can ship worldwide (at cost). £275 + shipping I’ll also throw in some authentic 3D printed Boeing knobs too!

Yeah, I’ve tried that. Just seems a waste as an analogue axis would be better (as per the real deal afaik).

Had my WW Taurus about month or so now, but I still currently don't have the radar range axis setup how I would like it. Set up as an analogue axis it works great in AA radar mode (I'm talking specifically for the F/A-18, but I'm guessing the same applies to most a/c), however whilst in AG mode through the TGP, the zoom defaults to midway due to it being spring-loaded/return to centre. I currently have it setup in basic switch mode, which works well in both scenarios, but the travel in this mode is huge and it just seems like a real waste of an axis to me! It would be better without the return to centre as per the two analogue axis on the Take-Off panel... Is there a better way of setting this up? Can it be recalibrated some how or am i missing a setting in DCS? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Trackir Unplugged/Plugged message... Still!
CrashEd replied to Wedge's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I think I've isolated my issue to my Corsair H100i Platinum cooler - since disabling iCue software I've had no issues (in an hour or so at least, as opposed to every 30 sec or so before...) Some interesting info in this thread for anyone still having issues: https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=184745 Also look at what software you have installed that might poll the hardware sensors e.g. CPU-Z, HWINFO64 etc -
no sure about evil, but it's pretty basic/undeveloped and really shold be made to work alongside other manufacturer's hardware.

Trackir Unplugged/Plugged message... Still!

Has anyone found a solution to this? I’ve spent most of the day searching for an answer and failed miserably. Ive tried most things in this thread but to no avail. It’s got to be hardware related as the hardware list in DM refreshes each time, but I don’t see any activity in USBDeview, which is weird. ive removed all usb devices, inc TIR, but it still persisted. It’s driving me crazy! I’m now wondering if it could be Mobo/lighting related as per this post: -
Mine's the same except for the additional streamdeck line: -- load the DCS ExportScript for DAC and Ikarus dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportScript.lua]]) This is what is causing the issue. The DCSBIOS line has no affect on the WW hardware, as you say. As far as I can see there' s no conflicting ports, so I don't understand why this line blocks the WW hardware. Here's my full Export.lua file for completeness: local wwtlfs=require('lfs') dofile(wwtlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/wwt/wwtExport.lua') -- load the DCS ExportScript for DAC and Ikarus dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportScript.lua]]) --local dcsRg=require('lfs');dofile(dcsRg.writedir()..[[scripts\DCS-raygun.lua]]) BIOS = {}; BIOS.LuaScriptDir = [[C:\Program Files\DCS-BIOS\dcs-lua\]]; BIOS.PluginDir = [[C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming/DCS-BIOS/Plugins\]]; if lfs.attributes(BIOS.LuaScriptDir..[[bIOS.lua]]) ~= nil then dofile(BIOS.LuaScriptDir..[[bIOS.lua]]) end --[[DCS-BIOS Automatic Setup]] And it is located in: C:\Users\XXXX\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts

I’ve tried them separately and they both work fine (independently). I have DCSBIOS and streamdeck lines in there, so I’ll try removing one or the other and see which one is causing the issue. It’ll be annoying if it’s the SD as I use it a lot. DCSBIOS less so... Thanks.

Roger - I’ve got that set already

Just tried this and I still can’t get it to work. Just to make sure I’m not doing anything eminently daft: - Load SimAppPro (SAP) - Point to Export.lua - ‘Fix’ it to add WW lua code - Edit the file and add DCSBIOS code etc - Change the folder SAP points to (user data path) - Run DCS Am I doing anything wrong?? I don’t get any lights syncing with DCS but my other HW works... Any help would be appreciated!
-
Nice workaround - thanks for that. I’ll give it a whirl.

So yesterday my Super Taurus arrived and I got it all mapped and set up with minimal fuss. Flew a few missions and all was well. The SimAppPro software edited the export file and made a back up of the current one. All Winwing bells and whistles were working well with just the WW lines of code added to the Export.lua file. I run the DCS export script (https://github.com/s-d-a/DCS-ExportScripts) for my Streamdeck and also DCS BIOS, so once I added these lines to the Export.lua file then all of the WW stuff stops working. I tried adding the code to the beginning and end of the file but no dice. Having just spent a big chunk of money on this hardware, it would be good to have it all functioning. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get both working?
