  1. This report is based on recent experience from engagements with AI Cy-30 and doesn't seems happens to any other types.

I don't know what if that was due to currently lack of a stealth aircraft in DCS and act this type as a measure of "step-gap" or rather ED wanna to '''lecture''' us how "obsolete" the Tomcat was according to some Cat-Hate Saga we've well heard of already, but when watching multiple up-to-date C Phoenix shots at a single target in good solution but with none tracks true even a Fox2,you just want to say : WTF!?

I know it was not the fault of HB, but drop this here because it was the issue relates directly to Tomcat/Phoenix.

    Also Tacview files included

So, in the case of the Tomcat, by the time they got F110 the high fast intercept was less of a concern in the late 80's and 90's.  Hence don't spend the money to schedule the ramps, the better subsonic efficiency and higher thrust subsonic/transonic is good enough for the expected threat.

But drag enough to jeopardize a notch already.

Since A+ shares identical engine with Viper alone with much high Mach design, the speed performance ought not be limited at this level.

I believe it wasn't used in Vietnam, but IIRC I've seen some pictures of the latter models (-5 -7) still in use and they were pretty late, like even firsts sixties maybe, though in very minor jobs obviously, ANG and such. Anyhow, even if that was the case, which I'm still not sure, why would we want the -1D to be used in such a context even before having used it in it's rightful Pacific context is beyond my comprehension 🤣.

The only thing the Phoenix has going for it right now is the battery life for those 70 mile bomber shots. Kinematically it's a pretty poor missile and the AWG-9 with all its issues keeping a lock isn't doing it any sort of favours. Once the 54's motor burns out it pretty much deploys the brake chute. I do hope this is not the final state, otherwise I guess in the end the naysayers were right about it being mostly unsuitable vs fighters?

Yes,that's what I mean I wonder what if the Phoenix was really poor to this shape in real life,or rather all the utter is just "update" to meet some Cat-Hate Saga and fulfill the happy of some BC/PC who produce and promotes them since early this century.

I've tried STT. but experience the same issue whether at 65nm, 35nm, or <10nm. I've complained in private about the AIM-54s being neutered for "balance", but now the aircraft is not even capable of defending itself against novice players.

Yes,and not track with even dogfight switch on!

Rather then what so-called"game-balance",to weaken the Phoenix in to this extent since the last update,I wonder what if the Phoenix was really poor to this shape in real life,or rather all the utter is just "update" to meet some now widely-known Cat-Hate Saga and fulfill the happy of some BC/PC who create and promotes them since early this century..............................😈
