  1. In light of that, if I'm guessing anyway, I may as well use manual, un-assisted CCIP. Seems like a pretty daft TV-assistance system. I also miss the CBU-97/105. Is there no Russian equivalent?
  2. That's why I never bother with Combat Mix in the A-10 anymore. I just use HEI. Far more effective on light armoured and unarmoured stuff/personel and then I use missiles and sub-munitions on MBTs that would actually work in the real world where you can't kill an MBT with 70 30mm rounds.
  3. I actually meant the KMGU dispenser.
  4. Which RPG are you talking about though? Some RPGs have greater RHA penetration that ATGMs. http://world.guns.ru/grenade/rus/rpg-28-e.html
  5. Finally managed a hit with manual release. MER Manual.trk
  6. Tried out the MER bombs. Now you'd think hitting a large area target like a car park with submunitions would be easy but no, they consistently miss. Track attached. I even tried aiming them short to compensate but somehow they always found a way of missing. Almost like smart weapons in the way they consistently thought of how to miss. I think it's something to do with the release delay not be accounted for by the release program. MER D.trk
  7. Tank rounds should not bounce off helicopters. I think there are some issues with the damage model. It takes as many Kh-29s (320kg warhead) to destroy an aircraft bunker as AGM-65Ds (57kg warhead).
  8. Switch to another tab and then switch back and it'll work then. It's a bug.
  9. You've got the Aster missile of the Sea Viper defence system. Sea Ceptor, Sea Dart. Starstreak MANPADS.
  10. He'll never be able to run from the torpedo tube and light the blue touch on the SAMs and SSMs in such a short time span.
  11. So do I. The MK48 was designed at the end of the '60s.
  12. The MK48 is slow compared to Russian torpedos: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VA-111_Shkval This can be carried in the Velikiy's 533mm torpedo tubes.
  13. ^There's a top attack TOW too.
  14. 6000rpm x 16 for 16 guns. 6000rpm x 2 per Kashtan x 8 Kashtans.
  15. Have you seen the PV's 16 AK630s and AK130 in action against surface targets? I did a simulation where I put it up against 60 M1A2s and 60 Infantry M4. They were decimated. The AK130 fires 130mm rounds at a rate of up to 80-90rds/minute. The rounds are over 1.5m long (case and projectile). The fire rate in equivalent to 4-5 127mm Mk45s.
  16. The AA training is a bitch to complete because you have to do everything in the set order he mentions and really control your speed otherwise he won't continue. Frankly it's my perception that the TGP is useless for AA. What are you going to do? Randomly scan sections of sky in case something is there? Without a radar it's all VR, so you see the plane, go to AA HUD mode, select conical scan, get lock inside range (guess it visually), and fire. That's all you need to take away from that training. That and how to select different gun funnel profiles. Sometimes you need to press buttons for longer to get it to register with the instructor.
  17. Yeah. Strange because it all worked in A-10 1.1.1.1.
  18. We don't have super-cavitating torpedos either. Another Defence Budget suggestion.
  19. And 20 Granits. You are forgetting the 2x61 cells containing a mix of SAMs and BGM-109 Tomahawks but yes the Velikiy has lots SAMs and those AK630s can fire at a combined rate of 1600 rounds per second. It's a lead wall.
  20. It had a very good engine. Probably the greatest engine in history. Certainly the engine we owe the most to.
  21. I've seen that too but it's not really effective against large vessels with armoured hulls as it has a small AA warhead. Use Add Waypoint Action, Set Option>>ROE>>WEAPONS FREE and Set Option>>Alarm State>>RED Doesn't make any difference though. The Velikiy does not fire.
  22. Yep, error confirmed. No 5V55R. No 48N6E2. No Granit. No BGM-109.
