I prefer 80s setup (please, make a real one without modern air/ground stuff as well). But... They are people that prefer modern era, so it's fine that they also have their blueflag. :) I do agree with others - It may be too short to arrange that before the launch, but please consider fuel consumption per plane type. (with their tanks). If it can ease the work, all data gathering stuff for this or other script, i can give time. Also, I hope that fuel won't be a crucial point like previous blueflag. It has been painfull for heli drivers, I prefer just no fuel system at all, its really boring, but more important CSAR work.

Can't we get Tu-160 instead ? They are so beautiful and close looking of B1...

Air start in Mig-15 is not working, whatever mission i use / create. Engine just shutdown at mission start and respawn. DCS 1.5.3.52478

Mig-21 is quite broken in 1.5.3 too. :'( Leatherneck, the '21 is one of the most loved plane around, please, save our soul !

We accessed the plane yesterday. I won't comment specifically on the dogfight as we want to keep our cards secret ( :D ) but F86 is clearly above the mig. Its weakness are fewer and less serious. For ground attack, i can achieve more damage with one f86 than with 4 migs. But my pilots are starting training and while i expect US to win, this round will be very valuable for a lot of us in term of *forced* BFM training.

If you want to hunt some Mig-15s for real, my squadron is switching into it as Mig-21 is getting worse and worse every patch. We can arrange a few games :)

Mig-15 seems tought tho. The other day I straffed a mechanized company (~12 BTR80), They peppered me to death and still i returned the plane. :)

Korea will probably be the opposite - Blue will have lots of guns & ammo & radar & rockets while red will have .... well... nothing fancy except vodka and courage.

I haven't met in the Sky with Tfortrouble, but that was hilarious everytime he would connect, everytime would get crazy on red TS. He was the last man standing in Tbilisi, 1 vs 11 :P

Hi Greg, What is the program now ? Will you run a regular blueflag or move to Korea one ? Now that Caseblue is over, we discover our Mig-21 so broken we can't really fly it - and next patch isn't looking brillant either. We think about temporary move the squadron over Mig-15bis, but it's assuming they'll be a korea setup in blueflag.

I believe red numbers will be slightly higher than blue, still the blue manage to get some good period as well ;) We got a 2 vs 6 furball which was hell of a fun. We still got 3 down before hitting the dirt :smartass:

I'm unsure radar were used in that scope tho. Radar coverage was just in its early day, and was more about huge buildings to detect incoming stuff above the UK/germany, than tactical radar deployed everywhere ;)

DoW server has some wind/dyn weather, and blueflag had night and strong weather missions running as well. I do agree that weather and time of day is great immersion. :) One thing tho- random clouds are really randoms : in MP games, cloud aren't synchronized.

Agree. Everything that can **** your SA and navigation is a great addition, as it increase the workload in these LOOOOONG AND BOOOOOORING not-so-navigation flights.

Those are project i just don't understand. checked the FAA rules and those aren't going to get legal anywhere except some lost farm field in the middle of nowhere.

Full cloud coverage works ;) also it seems dynamic clouds works. At least in the only mission i tested, i had same clouds. Different time would be nice. Wind and rain as well. For some reason, our guys are way better at take off with wind, as we always trained with crosswind =)
