VR support in DCS anytime soon? virtual reality has come a long way recently, and now one developer is just about to realease their SDK for game devs. How awesome would it be in DCS World with a high res 110 FOV VR headset? no more expensive cockpits or clunky track IR... :) just put on the VR and take off... any1 know if ED is going to support this new tech? links: http://www.oculusvr.com/developer/

i enjoy it even when i dont know everything... i do look up some videos on certian things, but im not going to dig myself into some manual i will probably not understand anyway :P im very bad at collecting information theoretical or by reading/teachers, i need to do it myself to understand it.

hehe no i cant handle "all" weaponsystems, i have barely scratched the surface tbh... i know im doing many things wrong, for example i just toss GBU-12's manually on targets, its kind of crude but seems to work "OK" for now...

ye thats pretty understandeble, same with Project Reality mod for BF2.

hehe, i assume it could take awhile before finding someone patient enough ^^ i guess ill work with the AI wingmen for alittle longer... :P

if you want to skip the wall of text, read that wich is marked in red :) I have just taken the step into the world of simulators (in this case DCS A-10C) and i really like the challange it provides with its complexity and depth, but i only enjoy "learning by doing" so no reading manuals for my part... heck i dont even read manuals when i assemble furniture :) I was just curious, what can i expect when jumping into multiplayer? will players with more knowledge and experiance just stomp on me and kick me out wherever i go? or are there somewhere to practice with ppl in a similair situation? I have around 1500+ hours of flight in arcade flying games like battlefield (BF1942/bf2/bf3) but i have kind of outgrown it now... http://www.youtube.com/user/burre01 if anyone would be interested... id really appreciate if anyone would take their time and get me kickstarted into the multiplayer/coop experiance (i know some basics, how to takeoff, how to handle the aircraft, use AGM's/cannon/aim-9 but landing is harder... survival rate is around 70% or something when i attempt it :p So, im basicly asking how the multiplayer/coop community handles the less experianced players, im kind of afraid of jumping into a game and ruin someones experiance...

thx for the reply PeterP my cooling is sufficient (overkill to be exact) 250mm sidefan / no dust / arctic cooling freezer 7 cpu fan and 4x 120mm casefans (all fans in working order) i was unable to answer it erlier since my PC broke down, my GTX480 was the problem, its vram was failing and i had to get a new videocard... time to try out my new GTX690 and all my new sim equipment! :)

DCS A-10C has been running flawlessly for about a month, but now its starting to get unplayeble for me... It seems to appear at random, around every 10mins (atleast) the whole screen goes black for a small period of time (3-7sec) then it returns in intervalls to normal, and then goes black again, a few times it even crashes to desktop. any1 got similair issue with Nvidia cards? ive seen some threads about ATI having this issue... Rig: GTX480 (single card, standard clock) intel i7 950 (standard clock) 6gb DDR3 RAM (Corsair 1600mhz) ASUS P6T SE motherboard Display driver: NVIDIA 296.10 hope i can solve this issue since ive just ordered a TrackIR5, MFCD's and a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog stick :) hope it will be playeble when that arrives
