Not on a dedicated server but myself and two others, regardless of who hosts, get this very problem too. 15-20 minutes and then somebody/all crash-out...if the host is still running then clients can't rejoin either. This went from being rock solid to nothing but problems...hope you get it sorted soon...

As i mentioned before, I could get into World. I was getting an "autoupdate.cfg is mission" error. Got a friend to email me his. Copied it there and it updated itself. Things look mostly good now I think...too late to dive any deeper now but will post back if there are more problems. Thanks fro the help!

I hadn't flown for about 3 weeks and when I tried to launch it on Saturday, nothing worked. This was from a perfectly working copy before 1.2.2 I didn't run anything initially as I didn't even know there was an update. Then tried to fix 1.2.1 including wiping it and reinstalling in (had it on my external)...full reg cleans and reboots of course. That didn't work so DL'ed 1.2.2 and pretty much the same thing. Did some research and found that it's the C++ RD that is probably the problem. Removed and reinstalled them and got 2/4 file fixed. Currently, the two DLLs still messed are: IESHIMS.DLL IEFRAME.DLL Shim is MIA and Frame is...not sure...

What a pain in the ass...really not impressed. I was getting this problem and used a program called Dependence Walker to find out that some how, the auto updater messed-up some files to do with the c++ redistribution program/files. I'm not 100% back to normal but by running this http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=14632 with the REMOVE option and then cleaning the registry with 3 programs before reinstalling it, I can at least get into World now. I second Mojo's issue. I didn't do a full wipe when I went to 1.2.1 and ended-up with an invisible cockpit (I could see the gun kinda). Air launches just put me in a dead A10 falling out of the sky...rather unnerving really... Doing a full wipe and then extra stuff like a reg clear and defrag before installing 1.2.1 did the trick...zero issues now. GL!

:censored: Yep, that was it. Copies those two files back into their respective directories and poof, all is good. Thank-you very much Speed. I'm sure this wont be the last question but I hope the future ones are a bit more challenging than this one...also hope to produce something that might amuse you too one day with this gem of a tool. +10!

Ah thanks Speed. I really appreciate this especially as it's such a basic problem. Attached is the log file and the mission file. Note that the log has .txt added to it to bypass the forum file filters. Also, I'm doing a basic msg test now copied right from the SLmod manual but the results still fail when they shouldn't. I've checked again that the files are all in the right places and directories. I also verified that I have wscrit.exe (and files are pointing to it) as I saw that was a problem for somebody else. Running the EXE as an admin and this was a maual install of the NON Servman version. This appears to be the key problem: 00069.798 ERROR Actions: [string "slmod.msg_out('Hawg1 destroy enemy bunker',..."]:1: attempt to index global 'slmod' (a nil value) I shortened the string as I thought maybe the "," was causing issues. I did some reading over at LUA and it seems that either I'm outputting nothing or the expected return is nothing...hence the nil. But that's as far as I've gotten. Again, thanks...I've tried to do as much investigation on my own but I'm either missing the obvious (most likely) or there is something odd here with my set-up. test.miz dcs.log.txt

Any word for anyone on their 1.2.1 experienced? Is it me or is it 6_1? Haven't had time to play with it since my last post but I did verify installation. Oh, the error code refers to [string "do..."] etc...the first trigger I believe. Thanks! Dying to use this.

1. You're posting in a public place and face the consequences that come with that. Deal with it or don't post. 2. Why not ask/tell those people you "trust" rather than piss-off a bunch of people with this type of post? This seems to serve no purpose other than to pad your ego. :badmood:

Total noob to Slmod so this might be obvious to most... Does 6_1 work with 1.2.1? I tried making a simple test and then tried the "weapons impacting in zones" mission from page 24(?) and no go. So I am assuming that I either installed Slmod incorrectly or it's not compatible. Thanks for your time....great work BTW...wow...

So as pretty much every version of LOMAC > v1.00 needs v1.00, I was wondering where to buy it digitally. So, first off, fix your links. Second, please make a digital version of the original LOMAC available and/or easy to find.
