Thank you Recluse for taking the the time to give me words of encouragement, I WILL take it to heart and not give up. Will try like you say, start outside the game with configs as I think this might be some of the problem I have bought trackir specifically for this module [think i spent more time setting it up than the actual sim itself!!] and have not used my x52 pro in years so as you say the setup might be the fairly large uphill that might be blocking me. [the 35 mins was doing a cold start from a tutorial and couldn't get to a button that was clearly easy in the tutorial and then I realised my setup is not right so walked away from the cockpit and didn't look back....] thank you for your time

I can only say WELL DONE... I have been waiting for something similar to JANES for the longest time, and now FINALLY when i bought the early access and it dropped in my inbox I have been intimidated by the complexity of the simulator.[think i have played about 35 mins before i was overwhelmed ] I at least have satisfied my head by knowing I own it and it's there

what if you are the type of individual that is unfriendable? i was honestly getting this for the single player experience [ i do understand the irony of a multi crewed heli]

brilliant words. let this not get toxic it was a legit REAL WORLD question did ED say no refunds if delayed?, if not then people should be able to express their displeasure buy getting a refund. personally I agree with @Cosmo81 who makes a GOOD point "i preorder because i wanna pay[less] and forget about it" that sums it up for me.

As I am reading this thread I am starting to notice that the hardware requirements are slowly creeping away from MOST average gamers. Do I need to be concerned as the base requirements on steam are WAY below my current specs [r7 2700x,3060Ti,32GB] but everyone is worried about performance issues. And i see talk of 3080's and 3090's which is a bit concerning as I have already pre-ordered the glorious AH64. So if there is so much chat about the various hardware configs then should ED not start engaging with users about the possibility of very varying possibilities of experiences with the hardware as I see only VERY high end rigs at ED and that concerns me as who is doing the base config QA to see what we can expect at the so called lower end PC owners?

Yup i like your thinking I bought the black shark then bs2 and have not spent much time in it learning as the heli I always wanted to spend time in is the almighty APACHE, so me thinks I am gonna take your approach and learn the ah64 and if I don't come right I would eventually come to the realization that the fascination [with the ah64] is not to fly it but to admire it

Hi All I have been waiting for this one for a VERY long time. I am now at a decision and I would like so community help please. This is not meant as a competition as I have BS on Steam and DCS: A-10C Warthog + DCS: Black Shark 2+ Combined Arms on ED's E-Shop so launchers don't matter and it doesn't really bother me having a lot of different launcher. My ask is Eagle Nation what are the advantages of the different platforms if any I just wanna buy the EA module I have been waiting for on the right platform. Thanks for any input.
