Hi I`m trying to install walmis f15c into FC2 run in windows 7, 64. My problem is that during the instalation fase there is no default folder , when i use the browse button to find the FC2 folder it remains greyed out .. ??? martin

hi ven, i,ve been waiting for burnthrough before launching,by then my tews has warned me of enemy missiles. and regarding my wing ,i try to give attack my target to 3 and 4 and cover me too 2 , wing 3 and 4 get orders after ive burnt through and locked a t least one 27. i guess i should be launching a couple of HOJ`s at them earlier. I didnt do this before becouse i wasnt sure what i was launching at and didnt want to waste 120's. asparagin, i think i will make a small head on as you suggest, and then i can studdy it after Thanks all for the advise :thumbup: Oh well back to school :book:

Thanks for the advise chaps :thumbup: i am already flying with aim 120c's and less fuel . so that wont help ,but i think i'll try some single missions. Hijack , my problem isnt with knowing the f15 itself , i played the origanall to death . its the fact that i am put straight on the defensive ,i dont have time to burn through and launch then keep guidence until the 120 seeker goes active. i turn away , during this ive sent my wing at the 27's . After defeeting the first missile attack on me each time i turn back to the fight i am killed . I've watched ironhands vids , but the sim has changed so much since then i dont know how relivant they are . I think i'll try something else a10 maybe then but i've never flown one , so that will be a new experience i supose. ven, when i said pistons and bullets i was talking about IL2 :smilewink:

I have now flown mission 4, 47 times with 9 deaths the rest shot down and only 4 ata kills . 4 wasted days and a splitting headache. It seems that this game is desighned ONLY for hardend veterans:mad:.. LOckon wasnt this hard , 6 missiles launched at me ?? its as if the ai is told to leave my wingmen and go after me , its imposible i last no time atall . they have fired at me before i get burnthrough on the 27's ,game over ,i turn away and send my wing after the 27,s . Then after turnig back to the fight after defeating there first launch , Bang im dead they have launched again . I'm seriouslly cosidering putting this in the bin and going back to pistons and bullets. How are you expecting to get newbie flyers intrested when you prescent them with" self tooth extraction " were is the fun in that.. Sorry for my rant but a aint having no fun , and if its this hard i aint going nowere near MP.

Just tried again same problem , when i get to weypoint 3 my hud tries to direct me to weypoint 1 and i cant select anyother weypoint . Now though i have found if i switch nav modes to ilsn and back again i can then cycle through my weypoints , and yes i was in nav mode to start with ( not ilsn) , Second time i tried this though my pc froze and needed a restart . can comebody else try this with the pach installed becouse it wasnt happening before :cry:

Mission 3 (f15) wont work no more . i take off go to waypoint 2 ,then directed to wypoint 3 ,then back to 1 , all the time waiting for the hud cue to change before changing cource . Next thing i get told to get back on cource ??? then mision fail," i faild to maintain cap" .. Also if i cycle weypoints after being told to get back on cource it remains 1 on the hud but distances change as though its cycling throught the weypoints but still showing 1 on the hud .... weird I have tried 3 times now each time making shure i stay exactly on cource and trigering the next weypoint,and exactly the same thing .. It used to work fine aswell :helpsmilie: Just noticed this should probablly have gone in the lockon help desk... Sorry :doh:

I have a problem login int lockon files . I have fogoten my nickname and password . But to retrive your password you need your nickname and email ,and there doesnt seem to be a way to retrive your nickname. To compound problems to email the mods you need to login . Anybody had the same problem and goten round it ????

Just found out i am flying a harrier and didnt realise DOH:doh:.... Seriously though.. just descovered the H4 hat on my new cougar is knackered and keeps activating on its own (chaff mapped to it) .. Being bought online i might just replace the hat myself rather than the hasstle of sending the whole thing back :mad:

Sorry its me again:music_whistling: i seem to have nothing but questions and problems ,but at least they are quickly solved :thumbup:. This time its quite bizzar, in the F15 campain from the begining when sitting on the ground with engines of my chaff dispencer randomlly despences chaff . When i get airbourne it carries on . If i use insert on the keyboard or my maped key on my cougar it workes as suposed too . but still as and when it wants the aircraft uses up all its chaff ... Any ideas , or am i being stupid and missed something :book:

Standard qwerty keybord , English UK. Game software ,Thrustmaster, foxy,saitek and natural point.. will try to remap the key ,hopfully that will sort :thumbup:

Yep checked that ,in the flaming cliffs 2 options menu,then controlls , the backslash is set to keybord= comms menu ??? as i said i get no comms atall its as if they dont exist . it all worked fine in flaming cliffs 1 .....

Why cant i use radio communications ??? back slash does nothing , neather any other command , its as if its miising from the game :helpsmilie:

I,ve just started the f15 campain and my engines wont start ,and my aircraft randomlly dispences chaff whilst sitting on the runway ??? if i start engines seperattly they start sometimes ,but never with home-Rshift . Any ideas as i'm at a loss :cry: p.s my throtle is at idle so cant be that .. Got it sorted.. I had my rudder pedals and couger runing off the same usb hub (passive) and it was creating some strange results . Ive moved my tracker round the back so the controllers can have independant usb sockets , problem solved :doh:

HI Does anbody know how to configure toe brakes using the saitek pro flight pedals ?? i can engage the brakes but they dont release when i take my feet off them :( martin

:doh: Got that sorted cheers ... But i have a big problem now S3/shift is not working and i cant find it in the joystick file . i have even downloaded the file again and cleen installed. even made sure the s3 button is working :helpsmilie: verry strange Sorry just sussed out you need to hold S3 down to activate shift ,ithought it was a switch, and was confused as i could not find it in the joystick file Oh well ive got a lot to learn about the cougar and foxy :thumbup:

Hi When im trying to lock a target on the VSD using the microstick it rushes around the screen far to fast ,and its hard to place it over the target to lock it .. Is there anyway either using the cougar or lockon software to make it less sensitive and slow it down ???

MY microstick is not working as the target designator ,its acting as mouselook ??? any ideas ?? Found it :doh:
