is there any word on improvements to the ATC in this sim. I've (A) had wingmen collide with other aircraft while taxiing, (B) been OK'd to taxi when other aircraft are clearly in my way © had to repeat requests to takeoff (D) been inbound with my wings hanging off and wanted to call in an emergency landing but there is no option (a few emergency vehicles waiting around the run way would be a nice touch by the way)....etc etc.... also, it would be nice to be able to ask others in the flight what stores they have left (I'm talking single player gaming here). cheers C

I would describe myself as an enthusiastic novice when it comes to air combat sims but I've played enough to know a10c is damn fine. however, I reckon the ATC and flight comms options let it down. I would love, for instance, to be able to call up the airfield and request emergency landings, perhaps even have a fire truck roll out to the runway. being told to orbit with half a wing hanging off is just plain rude. also calling up your wingman to check what munitions he still has (f16 had good options here) would be useful. any thoughts?

ditto. the wingman doesn't respond or comply with any command ver 1.2.11 latest patch.

I've had my CD copy of A10C running perfectly with highest graphic settings on my 32bit, XP machine (when norton is off!). I've just downloaded DCS World and am trying to run A10C through it. My registration worked fine, no problems getting World to open but when i start a mission - it crashes. I've reinstalled it all, got the 32 bit fix, C++, direct X fixes, but no luck. I was thinking that I'll just return to my CD bought version of A10C and dump the world. Any suggestions. cheers C
