found a solution am using version 2.5.6.55960 in options tab special F-14B uncheck box use FFb trim implementation tab Misc. uncheck Force Feedback uncheck Synchronize Cockpit Controls with HOTAS Controls at Mission Start this is the solution that worked for me i hope this helps others

just had this issue with a wathog hotas set the trim binds to key board and was not registering trim change even after holding trim down for 60 seconds or so do have g29 wheel all axis are cleared from options and all modules trim works except the tomcat .... don't mean to revive a old thread but hey it has happened 2 days in row soo hope happens 3rd so can trouble shoot

C:\Users\----\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha\Mods\aircraft\VSN_F14A bin cockpit doc and so forth to VSN_F14A-PTB could it be cause am using the beta nttr ? - nope or is it me doing something wrong ? - yes it is typically problem was i was launching vanilla version of the game as looked at root folder of short cut and figured this out {facepalm sets dunce cap on head :music_whistling: } good to sleep before trying install things on game's :music_whistling: now gone to fly thanks :pilotfly:

okay i must be doing something wrong mod not working on nttr 2.1.1.8491.251 there in the C:\Users\--\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha\Mods\aircraft\VSN_F14A this was no good only mod ever use is f14 have tried other posts to no avail the game is saved on my 2nd drive i possibly am not only one with issue so maybe a more direct step by step guide for easier comprehension please?

any one notice that the F-14 is a alpha but the iris pit is a delta are they doing a F-14A that was upgraded to F-14D...

win 7 32 pro witch might be problem it's self ..... nothing on this comp sept os and dcs world c++ and direct x dcslogs i wish knew where to look for that ...... win event application has stopped unexspeditly "yep thats real help there windows...."

unistall regedited ccleaner and cleaned it off reinstalled game starts click options game crash window opens "windows trying find soloution to problem" lol

yep still didn't fix it game runs with 2fps fine just can't change options or fly with that frame rate victory is mine! changed to start as admin on launcher exe and compadibility run as xp sp3

how do you set the options if options menu crashes the game every time strange thing is a laptop xp pentium 4 512video ram card withe 4gb ram plays it fine but this desktop win7 dual core 512 video ram 16gb ram won't play it :lol: any idea how change options in the lua or something?:lol:

game starts i click option window closes can't test fly since im sure graphic's it set higher then my comp can begin to handle by default since hit instant action and just get black screen till it crashes or window closes and go's back main menu been though all 6 pages and google to no avail
