  1. The solution. Bottom of Map. Click Show Objects. It is a little ICON of a tank in the editor. Near the Sat buttom.
  2. Disabling all Shadows and the problem is gone. I think we need a better Shadow Render algorithm to take into account tilting the head and working well with a TrackIR system. I did implement a deadzone to reduce it, but I think I am going to fly without shadows until we get better shadows. Any plans in the future to improve shadows? Especially with TrackIR running...
  3. Alright, here is a video showing just how bad the shimmering is when using a device to track head movements like TrackIR. Its pretty terrible. Notice at 33 seconds, I disable trackir and the image is perfect. Surely this is not by design and is unacceptable?
  4. Hi, I understand your comment, however I chose the pedals as an example as I could remove all usb devices. I will post a video showing how bad it is when using TrackIR, that is just moving my head in the cockpit, which does not move the plane, and the shadows and text in the cockpit shimmer really badly that I cannot play with TrackIR. Will post a video shortly :)
  5. Any help is appreciated. I used the pedals as an example, but with Trackir It is really bad. I just move my head and the shadows in cockpit shimmer and text as well. Trackir is not moving the aircraft. Happy to post a video with how it looks using trackir. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. I set up shadows to flat and low and still have the shimmering on Shadows when moving the Pedals.
  7. I am not sure that is correct. Look at this video, when he moves the aircraft, there is no shimmering on shadows, so I do not think this is expected behaviour.
  8. I logged a issue in Bugs and Problems here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3681143#post3681143 I think that is the right place for this issue.
  9. When I am in the cockpit, if I just move the rudder pedals, I get a lot of shimmering on the shadows and lines in the distance shimmer and flicker to. Using TrackIR makes the problem extreme to the point where I do not use TrackIR anymore. I do not have this problem with other games. I totally removed and added my NVidia Game drivers. This is a brand new PC. So would love the graphics to be perfect. Below is a link to the Video. 11. Hi, I finally got rid of shimmering with TrackIR. I created a DEADZONE in the profile for Yaw, Pitch and Role. SO happy this is now fixed :) No more lines and jagged edgess
  12. I ran Memtest86 3DMark Heaven Memtest showed corrupt memory, so i swapped it out and the new sticks passed. 3dmark showed a fault graphics card, so i swapped it out and got a new one. Crazy but true, had two brand new fault parts. ALWAYS test your hardware when you do a new build. Happy to get tips on making the graphics better :) As I mentioned since I do not have g-sync, i limit fps to 100, its a great compromise.
  13. So, here is how i avoid tearing. ----autoexec.cfg---- options.graphics.maxfps = 100 affinity_mask = 0 Nvidia Settings -> VSync -> FAST My FPS is always 100 now and my monitor is 100 MHZ. (Changed from 144 to 100). So zero tearing occurs.
  14. Correct, freesync does not work, hence I use NVidia V-Sync set to "Fast". I now have my monitor set to 100Mhz and FPS in game set to 100fps which stays constant, so no tearing :)
  15. Hi, I did several tests and finally found the best graphics settings. Core I5-9600k at 4.8Ghz Memory Corsair Vengeance XPS 32GB MSI Nvidia RTX 2070 Gaming Z 8GB MSI Gaming Edge AC Z390 See attachments. Essentially I have FXAA on in NVidia MSAA 2x amd anisoptric 8x in DCS, texture object shadows are set to default (important!) I use 144Mhz Screen, so I use Fast VSync (My monitor is freesync not gsyc), so you will need to adjust according to your specs Would be awesome to get feedback on recommendations you guys have to make the graphics awesome. My main issue was shimmering on far away building where there is a lot of lines. I fly the helicopters, so flying low you notice these things.
