  1. Yea, i do have tracks burried amoungst 1000+ others, I'll do some digging when I have time and post them here.
  2. Feel like this has been reported before, but I've started seeing it more often while putting together missions. The AI get damaged to the point the engine is out but I guess the pilot is still alive and endlesly float around in circles without being enaged further. I suppose this is fine given they are no longer a threat, but it does make it difficult to create events that trigger upon their destruction.
  3. I'd like to see some improvements to how AI land at airbases. I'm not sure if this is less of a problem with moden aircraft, but for WW2 types it nice to launch large waves and fill the sky for furballs but upon return they bunch up in a holding patten taking forever to land, or crash while waiting. Some airbases even have more than one runway which go unused for both takeoffs and landings. Link to gif example: https://imgur.com/a/XzKFNDp
  4. I think this is one of the least utilized features of DCS. Sure, you can setup supply/re-supply routes between warehouses, but it's just a number that ticks up every so often. It'd add a nice visual aspect to the world if a warehouse needed bombs and an AI transport or capable aircraft would actually supply the requesting warehouse.
  5. I found this script interesting and have been working on adding weapons to the table for WW2 aircraft. Its also a bit spammy for flak in the dcs.log because it's tracking the shot event.   6. I really like the idea of using Pagan airstrip as a strategic area on Marianas, but it's tough to do as it doesn't behave as a typical airdome. Granted, it lacks any ATC or other services as it's very remote, but i think can be done if farp assets could be used as ground units instead of static objects. Farps work as intended for both coalitions as shown in the attached Farp1.miz and Farp2.miz, however, things get wonky if you try to place farp assets from both coalitions there at the same time as shown in Farp3.miz. Sadly, if you destroy these static objects, there is no way to respawn them into the mission but as ground units you'd be able to spawn these assets as needed and whichever side controls Pagan can utilize it.   7. Not sure what needs to happen here at Saipan on Marianas. In my mission "ColdStartNotWorking", the bf109's on Saipan get no response from ground grew to run the starter. However, they work just fine on Tinian.. I created an entirely new mission "ColdStartTest" and everything works fine.. Whats the difference between these two and causes ground crew to not work for these aircraft? ColdStartNotWorking.miz ColdStartTest.miz
  8. I couldn't agree more. I recall before discord when Hoggit was the go to community for all things DCS. Every week there was Tuesday Night Noobs(TNN) which was a great event where people could join a MP server and there was always someone available to assist other members. Discord broke this concept and now the community is devided into smaller groups and clicks. I'd argue that there are more people that contribute to DCS today than there has ever been, but it's goes unnoticed as these contributions are siloed within these smaller communities.

  11. Just to quote myself, It seemss I can get this to work via the dedicated server through the use of triggers. Still need to do some testing.
  12. I should have been more specific. This appears to not work on a dedicated server similar to this issue https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/273197-picture-to-group-not-working-in-mp/?tab=comments#comment-4682581. It does however appear to work for a SP mission or a MP mission hosted by the open beta client.

  15. Is there an elequent way to randomize turning off ground AI for 5-10 minutes at random times during a mission? Currently using two switched conditions with set/unset flags and time since flag. It works but requires multiple triggers and doesn't seem all that random as it's using time since flag. Was hoping for some ideas on how to do this with a single trigger per ground unit using the Random % trigger condition. The idea is to make these units seem like they take lunch or a smoke break througout a long running mission at random intervals without scripting.
