Thank you for the quick reply. I just wanted to clarify that it's not just me experiencing this problem. We have others that have posted about it as well. Do you mean a ping to keep the NAT active such as a packet transfer? Another member asked if it may be an IMCP handling problem with routers for the computers the SR Radio Server is running on. Ciribob, First and foremost, Thank you for all the work you have put into the Simple Radio project. My vSquadron has been using the Standalone Radio for a few days now. One thing I have noticed in my last two flights is that the comms seem to go to "sleep" and stop working if not used for a while. Both pilots have to reinitialize the radios by pressing all of the PTT keys for the jet to re-establish radio communications. In my case this was present in the A-10C. Sorry in advance if this has already been reported previously. -R

Running vcredist_x64 in the DCS World\distr folder fixed the PTT not working for me.

Towsim I have been chasing a problem in my Aries setup and I think I have it tracked down but I need some advice on how to fix it. When the AB Radio is loading it does not load an entry for the forward mic switch from my hotas. The assignments are working correctly in TS until the GUI pops up in the cockpit. Looking at the log file I can see where it doesn't load an entry for the button handler for radio one. I ran into the same thing. The second time I installed the mod I did not edit the gun mount file it said to edit and it worked after that. The other problem we had was that it looked like an Apache to me but it looked like a Mi-8 to my buddy. Anybody solved that yet? I just remembered, at the time we tested this out he didn't have FC3 installed, maybe this was the reason for the Mi-8 showing up instead of the Apache?

You can hold the left mouse button when the cursor is over the knob and push/pull the mouse away from or to you and it will roll it as well. Rolling the middle mouse got old to me quickly too :thumbup:

I leave them separated unless I'm flying BMS FAlcon which is a single engine sim when using the F-16. It will work either way, separated or locked together. I haven't timed it but it seemed like the left engine took longer to spool with the throttles connected to me.

You could map the rudder to the slider axis on the throttle until you decide on a pedal set up. +1 on the Saitek Combat Pro Pedals.

It was definitely an awesome training session. I'm glad I was able to hop on for it and I am looking forward to the video and the next session. I have edited and rendered video before myself Jet so I really appreciate you taking the time to put those together for us.

:helpsmilie: PTT isn't working on my setup. It's almost like the #2 button is pulsing so fast that the TS program won't pick it up. If I use my keyboard it's fine but that defeats the purpose of a WH. Any ideas?

Hello I'm Joe, I live in the Florida Panhandle and I got A10C when it was first released on Direct2Drive. Initially I got frustrated with the level of complexity and an aging computer so I walked away from it for about a year. Now I have a computer that will run it and have recently purchased World/CA as well and I am glad I came back to it. It has taken me a while to get somewhat proficient with the controls but I enjoy this far more than any other sim in the past. I hope to one day be at a level where I can try the multiplayer aspect and not slow anybody down.

I found a fix, I think. Not sure exactly what worked but here is what I did. I uninstalled and then re-installed iControl and tested and no change. I then installed iControl for A10C instead of World, this did nothing but give me an error because it couldn't find the install path for that program. At this point I went back into the control panel and performed an uninstall on both programs, iControl for DCS World and DCS A10C. I installed iControl one more time and when I loaded DCS World, it worked! No rhyme or reason, I left all the install settings at the default options but after two days of tinkering with it, the iPad is back in service. The old saying about not missing something until it's gone is true, I didn't realize how often I used it until I couldn't. Thanks for a truly outstanding product Boarder!!

I got this Error after the recent upgrade to 1.2.1 Is there any way to fix this or do I wait for the next version to come out?
