@giullep ED used to communicate a lot in the past and the community expactations were too high, last minute delays usually happens because in an early access product you can't foreseen the future and last minute bugs when you put the pieces together may happen, personally i would say do happens most of the times. The community used to rage and accusing false promises, so ED choose to adopt other ways of communication such as telling the community 2 hrs before release, today we'll be releasing this and that, also because final testing it's stretched up to the last few minutes sometimes. It's not ED miscommunication it's more community fault, because sometimes acts very childish.

The repair solved my issues

Since the update i have CTD every single time i try to fly the F14 at the very start of the mission if i play it with supercarrier carriers.

3D editor for better and precise object placement, so we can make more immersive missions placing objects without struggling and wasting days doing that. This is needed especially with new AG capabilities of our birds (both planes and upcoming choppers)

Let's not forget Nvidia itself stated in the 1st place that 3090 it's not a gaming GPU while RX6900XT is. RTX3090 it's basically a titan and it's not meant for gaming.

This is a very good "theory :smilewink:" indeed, also because some VR headsets have AMD chipsets inside.

Confirmed, Some DCS performance video or reports, expecially about VR performance would be deeply appreciated, i'm planning to buy a 3090 once they will be available again. BTW enjoy your new beast and i wish you a lot of fun with it. :thumbup:

Not just that, it does have some memory leaks, which are probably related to its WIP status, patience will be the main keyword for this wonderful map and we will all be rewarded with good performance and the quality this map shows. :thumbup:

The Channel map is outstanding, i know it is designed for WW2 battles setting, but this map it's more than a total pleasure to fly with helicopters, the detail is amazing, this map could be even played with first person infantry combat in ArmA style due to its beautiful level of detail. Playing with tanks (combined arms module) it's basically wonderful. I wrote this post to personally say thank you for this map and its level and quality of detail to ED and the team behind this outstanding and amazing masterpiece they made. Thank you very very much guys. :thumbup:

I would suggest to skip and don't buy early access products anymore and buying them just on release, so you will not face this kind of situation anymore which as i can tell is completely uncompfortable for you. Whish you the best and stay safe.

It's the Viper launch that led ED not releasing the SC module, because people don't know anymore what early access means. And i'm really convinced they did the right choice, considering many customer behaviors. On top of that under my point of view they just showed how much they did learn the lesson and the professional approach they are using after that experience. People buys EA titles (Alpha or Beta) and pretends to have a release quality product. If i would be a developer myself i would do the same exact thing and also many companies out there are even not sharing release date or ETA anymore, thanks to some rotten apples in their customer base. In Italy we have a proverb which tells: Rome hasn't been made in just 1 day. Whish you the best and stay safe.

I believe you've made a great job with new light and water look, i must be honest by telling you that in VR: with video settings turned to default high, PD set to 1.7 and no tweaks at all on Nvidia control panel and SteamVR, i'm experiencing a boost in performance than i had in 2.5. I don't know why but numbers are speaking by theirselves. You're doing an amazing job with this great sim. What i wrote above it's only related to SP because usually i don't play MP with the exception of playing COOP sometimes with a friend of mine and VR experience it's as good as SP. I have performance drop in VR just on some planes (modules) and for the most they're early access modules, i mean F-16 and JF-17, while on F-18 and F-14 performance is great, even better than it was on 2.5.

Teir website is now down, my product is still unfulfilled and i ordered it the 21st of april 2019, i wrote them i want my money back but no answers at all and the website is now down. I'm glad someone received his ordered and paid product I'm angry because i can't even get my money back 159€ which is not little moneys....

I can confirm for a huge improvement in performance by not tweaking the Nvidia ppanel settings, except the power settings turned to full performance. It's the overall best VR experience i got with DCS with video settings turned on high, shadows medium and flat and SSLR off On steam VR i've only changed HMD resolution to 130% and in DCS PD to 1.7 i'm experiencing the best visuals ever with a very good performance on my Samsung O+

Considering the fact that DCS will become huge, talking about new modules, new stuff and terrains coming in the next months/years, something must be done to fix this long time annoying and frustrating issue (since the very first NTTR download). This must be taken in account and must be fixed ASAP, my 30MB/s internet connection, always struggles to download updates and stuff, taking an average DL speed of 0.7 - 1.0 MB/s, while on Steam my average DL speed is 3.7 MB/s and this gets even worse on HTTP download method (avg 435 KB/s). Seriously, something must be done, please.
