How is possible that after one month this isn't resolved ?? This is the most disturbing issue with the F1 right now for me, and probably is something that can be fixed easily by the developers. -
Nearly perfect for me, using a G2, but with a high supersampling.

MFG Crosswind now offers damper kits for their pedals
S-GERAT replied to dburne's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Received mine yesterday, and only tried it a few minutes, but the damper have an odd "dead zone" until it starts dampening.. need to give it a good try tonight, don't know if is the same problem you have. -
If this helps the first time I play this mission after the campaign launch it worked fine. Today I'm trying to play directly through mission editor and behaves like the other folks said. No refuel and the planes crash to the ground. My settings have not changed. EDIT : Found that the problem was VAICOM interfering with the scripted comms. Without it all works fine.

In my case (after some deads ) this is how I managed to kill the 4 flankers : When they turn to right, I speedbrake, and when the third one is passing above me I shoot two amraams to the ones forward, then inmediately launch an Aim9x to the one at the right with the helmet and last another to the one who pass above me. Is hard to get the right timming but the R-73 are too deadly to allow them to fire

True, but I personally don't like that.. In fact, one of my fears when buying the campaign was this, but fortunatelly after some missions I haven't see nothing like that, the combat is pure DCS, with the exception of the buddies for obviously reasons.. -
The buttons are disabled at mission start before you get the control of the plane. After that everything is up to you. I don't find anything strange in the flight behavior.

I'm another one enjoying this great campaign. At first was the less appealing of the six new campaigns, because I never liked the fictional countries and the strange history of ace combat kind of games. But don't know why, but I buyed it at saturday morning and was hooked the rest of the weekend. I'm a newbie father with a 15 months daughter, and don't have nearly any free time, so the possibility to play missions of 30 minutes is great. The campaign is great, the music is superb, and a very good voice acting and interesting missions. Is true that some are very easy, but there are challenges too. These damn Mig-29.. Haven't finished the campaign yet, but I hope it sells well and you can do another one. -
Try disabling and enabling it in the device manager

Received mine yesterday, the image looks a bit sharper and the sweet spot seems a bit bigger.. the colors seem a bit better but was expecting more difference in this regard. The cable and the earphones are a lot better. Have done performance comparisons between both and the G2 is marginally more demanding at the same resolution, nothing to worry about. The good part is that at least until now i can't see the borders of the screen like in the G1, need to try the face cover mod..

True too, but over 170 % of SS the antialising effect mixed with the MSAA X2 is pretty good. Probably not like MSAA X4, but the clarity of the image worth the difference.
