I completely agree with you. I mean yes by early adopting we got to play it for a week or two early but for a 20 dollar mark up it's not worth it. I'll continue to support ED because DCS is second to none in combat flight simulators but I will no longer purchase at release. I'll wait two weeks to a month and save 50-60% either through ED or Steam sales. I'm sure ED will follow through with their promise to give A-10C beta buyers Nevada for free. Wait for that map to be released and if they don't follow through with their word then sure time to be pissed. Until then trust in their excellent work and have faith in their ability to roll out a quality product, just be warned that takes time. I'm not complaining I'm just agreeing and saying hey lesson learned just don't' fall for it again ;). Ya know what they say "Fool me once ...."

Server Can Not Be Seen

I would love to see DCS C-17. As stated before the more aircraft the better everything from cargo, tankers, and even civilian add to the entire experience. It will also entice more aviators to fill our servers. Personally I'd love to see the HC-130P included into DCS especially once we're given multiplayer single aircraft multi-crew position capabilities it'd be the ultimate test of teamwork to accomplish goals. I'd have fun flying around especially refuelling the helicopters. That being said C-17 all day! Bring it.

Other Kickstarters This is really awesome especially seeing such a highly advanced plane in the level of detail that is in most DCS games would be amazing. I'm hoping this kickstarter will lead the way for other kickstarters for third party development of even more modules and not just fighter jets or helicopters. I'd love to see someone tackle the C-130 I would pay good money for that DCS product.

These guys have given some great flight tips already so I won't touch on that. I highly recommend especially if you don't want to buy a separate rudder pedal system buy the Logitech Extreme Pro 3d. It's about 30 bucks at your local Walmart or Best Buy (maybe even cheaper online) and it twists to simulate rudder action. While it's no replacement for a true rudder system it'll give you a decent flight stick with a good selection of buttons, throttle and rudder action for cheap. I use it for all DCS products until I get my TM Warthog and rudder pedals and I fly just fine.

HC-130P kickstarter! lol I'd pay good money for that if they could indeed deliver a game on the same scale/detail as the other DCS games.

Thanks for the help Eno. I was planning on running the server and playing on it. While doing the Hamachi work around I was able to play just fine while hosting a match with 7 other friends no issues. Once they fix the issue maybe I can host a large scale map and have my Alienware computer as the server. Hopefully they'll get around to working out the bugs in that I would love to see more servers up and our community grow.

Hello guys I've been trying to create a multiplayer server for DCS and have had no luck. Whenever I create one my friends can not see it in the browser. The only way I've gotten it to work is if we're running Hamachi then my friends can join using Hamachi but only using the LAN option. I would like to have it broadcast over the net so I can create large scale games for anybody to join. I've port forwarded the port 10308 and 10309 to ensure they are open. I've searched the forums and haven't found anything that helped so far. I may have overlooked something and am turning to the community for help. Do I need any special mods? Or if there a good guide for creating a server/etc or is this a known issue with the game? Thanks in advance for any advice. My computer specs are ...
