  1. Thank you so much, just updating now after following your suggestion. Super support from both of you:)
  2. Thank you for the suggestion. I had tried that but just tried it again after a reboot and unfortunately still no change. I am running the new Windows 10 creator.
  3. I would like to install the Normandy Map which I have purchased but when I try to run update it only runs version DCS 2.05. I do not want to install from scratch so how can I force an update?
  4. I have both an iPhone and iPad and can write and draw with my finger on the screens so if this content could then be displayed on the DCS kneeboard we are in business.
  5. Count me in as well, this will be excellent, well done. I have both an iPhone and iPad and would willing pay for the app(s)
  6. Thanks for the input. Yes hopefully a 4k 27inch screen would do the job for me but I will have to wait on prices and availability for a unit with G-sync.
  7. Thanks for that. I currently have a Samsung T24 inch at 1920 x 1200 and am hoping to upgrade my PC to include a GTX 780 Ti. I would also like to upgrade my screen as I am having problems seeing the HUD text on some aircraft, not the SU 27 though:). I think that I should go for a 27 or even a 30 inch but as G sync monitors will start shipping this quarter I will wait to see how prices pan out although I believe that price will then become an issue for me.
  8. Thanks very much for the clarification.
  9. Thanks for your reply which implies that there isn't a native resolution for the DCS software. I am asking as I am currently upgrading my PC hardware and wondered if I needed to aim for a particular screen resolution.
  10. Is there a native/ideal screen resolution for DCS and if so what is it?
  11. Yes, excellent job, thanks Beniboy
  12. I don't know anyone else who uses DCS but I must try multiplayer when I get the new PC as I really struggle with my current PC to get reasonable performance If anyone is having difficulty obtaining LOACS then I would willingly send them the spare copy.
  13. Thanks guys for the responses. Good to know that my Lock-On Air Combat Simulation is legit for FC3. I think that this should be clearly explained in the system requirement of FC3 as I had assumed that only LOMAC could be used and for anyone outside the USA this is difficult to obtain. Could the FC3 system requirement then please state that LOMAC or LOACS or a previous version of Flaming Cliffs must be installed prior to installing FC3. I am sure that this would bring in more business as I had been holding off buying FC3 as I could not obtain LOMAC. Now I have 2 copies of LOACS:)
  14. Is there any difference between Lock-On, Modern Air Combat and Air Combat Simulator? I am asking because I already had Lock-On Air Combat Simulator, which is still easily purchased in the UK. I had wanted to purchase Flaming Cliffs 3 but had some difficulty in obtaining LOMAC but eventually found a local company adverting LOMAC so I ordered it. While waiting for delivery I purchased Flaming Cliffs 3 and found to my surprise that it installed with my Lock-On Air Combat Simulator already installed! I have just received delivery of the purchased cd, advertised as LOMAC, but on opening the parcel it is actually another copy of Lock-On Air Combat Simulator. :( So far everything works fine but I have an old slow PC which I hope to replace next month so I would just like to know if my installation is legitimate.
  15. Thanks, that's excellent, do not need dcs to watch these:) Edit. Actually I do need dcs as I just tried to install a video and it seems to install it in dcs.
