  1. I highly doubt that's the case. When using the brake, the gear compresses enough to go through the tarmac and then scrape the nose along the ground under power.
  2. Oh, I do expect it. However, the Viggen is currently most vulnerable when emerging from the coast line. Knowing where to look, and what to look for is half the battle. That mission briefing pays dividends. ;)
  3. Defeating or preventing strikers from attacking targets is the fighters' job, so by dropping stores the fighter effectively won that battle. And I don't even have to turn on my radar until I get really close in the Mirage. Of the two Viggen's I saw last night, one ate a Magic from another Mirage and between me and an Su-27, that pilot was screwed anyway. The other was going to take a Magic from me until in his attempts to evade resulted in him finding the terrain. Considering that Viggen's ground radar pings away seemingly all the time, a Mirage pilot doesn't really have to turn on his radar until basically within visual range and use Magic's. No radar lock required at that point.
  4. I came here to see if this was posted yet. I was flying on a server with a friend and tried multiple times to get the flight crew to repair the plane. Tried multiple times, and the timer never started.
  5. I fixed my issue last Friday evening. My DL'ed copy from UBISOFT did not create a registry key that the installer was searching for. Thanks to a friend of mine working through the process described by coff, I got it working and it is a blast!
  6. I have downloaded the module from both the US and German links.... No joy. Tried running the install as administrator, still no joy.
  7. It would help if we could point the FC3 install to place we installed LOMAC. I don't know how it searches currently.
  8. Same here Hyperion. It's frustrating because I was online with my friends flying around me in circles (I was in a blackshark) and I can't join the fun. Really want to fly the jets....
  9. Tried that. I bought the downloaded version like Hyperion35. I ran the DCS update and it downloaded and installed with no problems. Even jumped online when my friend tried to buzz me in a mig-29 but got too close and clipped me. The online version downloads into ubisoft/eagledynamics I think.
  10. Did y'all get it to work? I am having the same issue....
  11. I am going to link this other thread as well because it seems they are having the same issues. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96726
  12. howdy, I am having trouble installing FC3, I bought Lock On: Modern Air Combat through ubisoft's download. I downloaded, installed, and even went into the game. Got in, and then exited. Tried to register, and couldn't. It didn't work said I wasn't connected to the internet which I know isn't true because I was talking to my friends on Teamspeak and I am posting on this website. Oh well, try to bypass the registration and try to install FC3. No bones. Got the message that LOMAC 1.0, FC1 or FC 2 should be installed and activated. Great... So I haven't been able to instal FC3 yet. I saw another thread posted about this in the general discussion but didn't see anyone reply to this. I am running Windows Vista service pack 2 64 bit. Not sure that makes a difference, but wanted to let y'all know. Is there a work around for this?
