  1. I realize there are many threads of AMD and Intel, but I could not find anything that gives a recommendation of which processor is best for DCS - Intel i9-13900k or AMD 7950X3D. I play DCS in VR only (Varjo Aero) and have 64g of Corsair Dominator DDR5. Which would you prefer?
  2. Try going to the Vaicom Pro Preference tab and make sure "Extended Command Set" is selected. This fixed the issue I was having with the Ground Crew ignoring my commands.
  3. Just placed order and now webpage has been taken down. Paypal just notified me that refund was just initiated. I guess I jumped the gun too early.
  4. Many thanks! Having my stick and rudder at full left deflection at mission start was driving my batty! Although unchecking "Synchronize Cockpit Controls With HOTAS Controls" solved that problem, my WinWing switches were not in sync at mission start. Your tip of clearing the axis assignment boxes, including the items that appears unassigned/blank solved this headache. Now I can fly with all my switches perfectly in sync.
  5. Running smooth for me. No difference in performance that I can tell from Win10. No regrets. Not one glitch after 4 days.
  6. I just did a complete Windows 10 reinstall and everything is working as it should. No need for a manual launch of SimShaker Sound Module.
  7. Hi Drack - In the Service tab of SimShaker for Aviators there is a checkbox labeled "Start Sound Module Automatically". Just uncheck the box and launch SimShaker Sound Module manually.
  8. It might be the handoff from SimShaker for Aviators to the SimShaker Sound Module. If I uncheck "Start Sound Module Automatically" and, launch the SimShaker Sound Module manually, it works flawlessly.
  9. Thanks for the detail. Awesome information.
  10. Many thanks for all the help! The answer turned out to be so simple. I was fixated on trying to find a digital readout. It makes perfect sense that the "tail" of the TACAN points right to the bearing from carrier to aircraft. Much appreciated.
  11. On my carrier approach, I call "inbound" and DCS automatically announces the bearing from ship to player. For the sake of realism, I would like to determine this myself. Is there anywhere in the HSI where this is displayed? Many thanks!
  12. In regards to the throttles bumping into one another, check out Jabbers video at the 11:45 mark ( ). He talks about some adjustments that you can make to prevent this. Keep in mind that I never had this issue. I installed the spacers at the time I attached my handles for the first time. I have plenty of room between the left and right throttle.
  13. No problem on my end. Did you put in the spacer pads on each handle?
  14. Got my order in. This was an easy decision for me. I have a F16SGRH and the product is really that good.
