All Razbam module doesn't support “engage my target” commnad unfortunately. I requested working “engage my target” and "engage target at my SPI" command for AV-8B many years ago, and result is as you know.

ED have tendency to not bother stopgap solution and only care about "perfect" solution which need years to implement and require another years to mature.

Typical ED's movement. ED announce something, then go completely radio silence for monthes or years. Thread like this will be ignored or closed.

Not bug. If you try to STT, target tries to break STT by activating ECM. Radar cannot resolve range(display 99.9 range in HUD) while ECM is in effect until you close in certain range(burn through).

And I assume heatblur worked very hard to get those documents. They paid certain amounts of time and cost and, may have needed hard and long discussions, negociations. I don't expect heatblur share those easly.

I think asking randam conpany "Hey, I want XXX documents you reserched for YYY product" is big NO NO in common sence. Let's stay away from that.

Radar will switch to STT when you press triger so it shouldn't matter most of time.

In petfect world ED should implement "talk on", laser or cordinate designation. However it will unlikely happen, at least foreseeable future. And, yes, sending designation directly in F/A-18 is not realstic, but no control over what wingman attack is totally unrealstic too. So ED may chose either of two ways. First way, ED does nothing, untill they figure out realstic way of how to interact AI wingman. Unfortunately, I even never heard about plan of improvement on this arena, so it will take loooooooooong. Second way, as a tempraly solution, ED uses already availiable function, to give more cotrol to AI wingman. It will not perfectly realstic, but will give great flexbility in SP. MP is fun for sure, but SP is as much as important in DCS game play.

Bump. During over 4 years of Early Access, zero improvement on this. Actually, worse implementetion than A-10C or KA-50 which released over a decade ago. Furthermore, Deka's JF-17 has very good ability to designate ground target for AI wingman using already available interface in DCS. Why can't ED's flag ship module use same functions.

AI JF-17 refuse to use GBU-12 and LS-6 100 for ground target. Other guided bomb (LS-6 250, 500 and GB-6) works fine. AI_GBU-12.trkAI_LS-6_100.trkAI_LS-6_500.trkAI_LS-6_250.trkAI_GB-6.trk For reference, AI F-16 and F/A-18 can use GBU. Please ignore LGB missing, it's completely ED's issue lasting for many monthes. AI_F-16.trkAI_F-18.trk Also, as track shows, LS-6 250 seems to have problem in terminal phaze. It tends to hit short or long.

It's funny that Wags said that they forcused on BIT systems very early stage of F/A-18, then it turned out most of BIT is just not functioning and even did not touched or updated throuh out loooong EA stage.

In DCS "Released but incomplete" means it will be almost forgotten and never finished. ED will allocate resouses into another EA module and that resouses won't come back to "Released" module again. A-10C and A-10C II are perfect examples.

Both AGM-65L and APKWS should provide good stand off against AAA or even IR SAM. But currently AI is just flying stragiht to target while guideing missile and getting hit by AAA, or IR SAM. In this state there is no point to equip AI with 65L or APKWS, AI will die at first or second pass. AGM-65L.trkAPKWS.trk
