Hi and welcome to the world of DCS. FC3 is a good option but you won't get a clickable cockpit. The flight models on most planes in FC3 are really good though. If you want a good flight model and a clickable cockpit without getting overrun by a hundred million actions and buttons i think the safest would to be start with either one of the WW2 planes P51,109 or 190) jet era F86 or MiG15. Personally i think the MiG-15BiS would be the best option.

Hi Matt thank you and ED for the stream. Besides the new graphics engine is ED also working on a new sound engine? I ask this question because alot of the sounds during the stream are the same as the current ones. Are they just placeholders or will they be carried over. To be honest i think alot of current sounds are much better by using mods that replace them. Sounds are a big part of the immersion and it would be so nice to get better sounds aswell. The new graphics looks absolute stunning and i like the fact ED has made options for model visibilty. Satellite view in the editor is really great ! Is 3d editing an option for the future with this engine? Shaping up greatly:thumbup:The future of my beloved flightsim looks great:pilotfly:

Yeah but on the other hand its been (delayed)(not ready) so many times now i kinda got use to it. Lets just hope it will be worth all the waiting.

I have a few Egyptian liveries on my list to do aswell. But im waiting for the official template from Leatherneck and Leatherneck will release it after DCS World 2 gets released. So i guess we will have to wait. Some on my to do list

Would be nice if Leatherneck decides to make a proper swingwing interdictor. Like a Su24 Fencer or an F111 Aardvark or maybe even a step bigger and go allout on a B1 Lancer or a Tu160 Blackjack

How is the quality of the bluray? Is it 720p, 1080i or 1080p? And hows the audio on the disc?

I had all sorts of headphones. Logitech, Razor, Sony, Sennheiser and a few other brands. At the moment im using a pair of Beyerdynamics and i can shoot myself in the head for not getting a pair years ago. Premium quality headphones is what they produce. Im using the custom one pro in combination with a asus xonar phoebus sound card. Next ones on my list when i have some money aside will be a pair of studio quality ones. Su27SM can carry SEAD ordnance. Wags said a long time ago ED would get the Su27 to SM standards but hè corrected this later. I think ED couldnt get the permission to go ahead with it from Russian authorities. Correct me if im wrong though.

What aircraft? For example you can find the pilot files of the F-86 in the f-86f.zip file. Located ; \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-86\Textures
